Re: Winter ashes...
You mean it kicks off tonight??!!! Thought it was tomorrow night. If it's tonight, it'll be going on inna bit. Assuming it's on Sky Sports 1 (as that's all I've got in the hotel room)....I could try streaming to my laptop, but the bandwidth here is shoite.
Re: Winter ashes...
Talking about this at work today. Not worth it was the conclusion. Hell yes to the last but one when I was a student (afternoon kip through countdown instead), hell no to the last one (working in a factory with 7:05 start). Might try to watch fourth and fifth days this time.

Re: Winter ashes...
Anybody fancy being involved in a Shane Watson LBW/awful review sweepstake?
Re: Winter ashes...
Ha!
Have they got any more proper Aussies yet?
Can't handle this likeable captain, vegetarian fast bowler nonsense!

Peter siddle is not likeable. Look at his face.
See also: Shane Watson. And Nathan Lyon, the most Aussie looking man alive.
New boy George Bailey is from Tasmania, same place that ponting played his cricket, so that already earmarks him out as a c*nt

The barrier is just about to go up.
Aussies with the toss elected to bat.
Let the game begin.

Re: Winter ashes...
My bad, wasn't clear. Clarke is likeable, and Siddle vegetarian. I like their captain, and their best bowler doesn't eat meat. Where the shitfcuk are the proper Australians?! Watson is the only proper one I know. Sounds like this Bailey has potential though.mrkint wrote:Peter siddle is not likeable. Look at his face.

71-2 at lunch. Didn't see any of it but couldn't sleep so got up for a quick look. Seems a reasonable effort.

I picked the right half hour to watch! Two more wickets down after lunch and time for bed!

Now 121 for 5 after 43 overs with Broad 4 for 42 (They were 100 for 5). Good fielding show so far.
