If you have a life outside of BWFC, then this is the place to tell us all about your toilet habits, and those bizarre fetishes.......

The bargain basement thread

If you've got links to genuinely great deals, or offers in and around the local area or further afield that could help our members save a squid or two, throw it up here.

Cheap concert tickets
Deals on local transport
Restaurant offers
Genuine holiday deals
Hotel offers
Promotions
Ultra cheap bolton box tickets because they face the pitch

That sort of thing, but just to be clear, this isn't buy and sell. No 'washing basket 25p or nearest offer, due to one pair of skiddies that won't scrape of the bottom'

If you find anything you think the members might benefit from, gerrit up! :D

Let's sort the buyers from the spyers, the needy from the greedy, those who trust me from the ones what don't!

Before we go any further, I'd just like to point out that lock stock and too many clichés is a diabolically bad film. Please cease and desist before I have a falling down moment.

Ah, that's a real shame as I was going to invite offers for my double oven (main oven fan assisted) grill and glass hob, further pointing out that it'll be available from next weekend and that the buyer will need to collect it. But I won't bother now. :( Please feel free not to PM me if you know of anyone that it might be of interest to. They'll have to go out and buy a new one now instead.

If anyone has a car seat that would fit a 2 year old that I could buy or borrow for a couple of weeks in May, I'd very much appreciate it.

Not really an 'offer' as such. But have a look at QuidCo. We buy all our utilities, insurance, sky etc through there. Everything you pay for something via the website (you don't pay a premium) you get cash.

When we got sky, we got our M&S vouchers through as normal. With an additional £120 into our back after the first direct debit.

Sign up, it's genuinely decent.

groupon appear to be doing an excellent deal on IPad minis.

What's the catch with these?

(Spare us any lame anti-apple jibes)

I'll resist anti Apple jibes, but the vendor that Groupon are pointing to, has them on their ebay store for £250, possibly missing their original packaging, could be a factory second...
