Re: The Ryder Cup
It'll be all over by the time Dubuisson plays the 8th, which is a shame for the lad as it looks like he's been a bit of a revelation. In the team room his position of being last will have have been talked up as an important role, but there will be no American Miracle today - as much as I'd enjoy that as a spectacle.
Two years ago, watching Europe's comeback. From Rose's win (think his was the fifth win in a row for Europe) right through to Kaymer's winning putt, the feeling was some sort of strange drawn-out euphoria which lasted 3-4 hours - unique in sport.
I'd love for Dubuisson's match to matter today, but either Gallacher, Kaymer or Bjorn will clinch the winning point and then they should all head inside the clubhouse for chips and drinks.
It's almost as if McGinley has lined them all up in order of how well they've played, and crudley swapped the Scot for the Frenchman...!

You live in Bermuda ?!?!Worthy4England wrote:Brekkers on, awaitng golf.
Actually, I've been awaiting it, since my alarm awakened me for the half seven tee off...
I bloody knew it.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

I nearly turned the fcking thing off, when they asked McGinley what they said to the team last night, to be told "we had Sir Alex Ferguson address them...."Abdoulaye's Twin wrote:Just heard the "first get in the hole"
Re: The Ryder Cup
My housemate declared in disgust at that point that he how wanted USA to win. Then changed his mind when he saw one of the yanks wearing sunglasses indoors at the opening ceremony. He's a man of principle.Worthy4England wrote:I nearly turned the fcking thing off, when they asked McGinley what they said to the team last night, to be told "we had Sir Alex Ferguson address them...."Abdoulaye's Twin wrote:Just heard the "first get in the hole"

Nervous time. Yanks leading in 7. I wasn't expecting Rose to be four down but he may have turned the corner. G McD making a good comeback too.

I understand you might not like McIlroy, but why on earth would you want USA to win at anything? What with you not being an American an'all....

Still a DMB though.
Re: The Ryder Cup
Hopefully Reed burnt himself out earlier on with all that arm punching and silence to the crowd nonsense.
Fascinating day yesterday but the singles is where the excitement just keeps coming.

Re: The Ryder Cup
Wow, what a shot from the rough by Kaymer and rolls to the pin. Fecking beautiful.
