Happy Feckin 2015...
May all aquatic vacancies bee for hits...
(makes as much sense as the original )
I think I'm well on the way to being not too well to morrow..

Aye, all the best to everyone on here. 2015 looks a lot more promising than 2014 did under Freedman

Yes, Spotty, when you posted it was just after six in the morning here - we're on daylight savings time now - and I would just have hopped back into bed after my obligatory morning penny spending.
So all the best for 2015 to you all from one who has experience of a part of it.
As an aside, but related:
How on earth do journalists of whatever breed estimate crowds? Sydney's a large city in the sense of area but as cities go it's not very big population-wise. This morning aforesaid journalists were estimating that 1.6 million people turned out to watch the new year fireworks staged on and around Sydney harbour. These are people who physically walked, bussed, drove, trained, cycled into the city and does not include the stay-at-homes who watched it on the flat screen. The latest guestimates of Sydney's population is circa 4.5 millions. Simple arithmetic tells that on the quoted figures one in every three of this fair city's citizens, man, woman and child, took on the other 1,599,999 individuals in a swarming mass of humanity attempting to elbow themselves to a half decent place to view the show. I don't and cannot believe it.
