iPhone Footy Game
Hi all,
Sorry to bother you all with my shameless advertising but I've spent the last 5/6 months creating a football game for the iPhone. This is my 3rd game on the iPhone (and my last 'cos no one downloads the things) so I thought I'd post in case anyone want to try. As a massive fan of the old Champy Manager series I've become a little detached from the latest incarnations.
Don't know if it's the overly realistic elements, lack of time or my aging PC but I just can't seem to get as much joy as I used to. Don't get me wrong, it's a fantastic game if you can devote weeks of your life to it but I was looking for a game that I could play on the train/bus/toilet and still get the satisfaction of turning a small club into world-beaters so I created my own.
The game is called Football Owner and it's more about developing the club over the years rather then managing the team. More chairman than manager really, so it's all about balancing the books, avoiding debt, buying/selling players.. that type of stuff.
It's already in the AppStore https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/footbal ... d892025534 and it's free.
Any questions just let me know.
Cheers!

Re: iPhone Footy Game
When you say "created" do you mean shamelessly stole the idea of the Football Chairman game which went viral about a year ago?
In a world that has decided
That it's going to lose its mind
Be more kind, my friends, try to be more kind.

Mine was free on a 12 month contract at about £30 a month, which is the same as it would've been with a Samsung, Googe, Microsoft, Blackberry or whatever #teammoneyBruce Rioja wrote:How much are they?Hoboh wrote:iphones are for those with more money to waste than sense, not given much choice though between Google and apple we are servants of the corporation!jaffka wrote:iphones for the elite and everything else are for povs

Cheers, Boris. So, according to Hoboh, anyone that's been dragged kicking and screaming into the modern era has more money than sense then?! #countmeinboltonboris wrote:Mine was free on a 12 month contract at about £30 a month, which is the same as it would've been with a Samsung, Googe, Microsoft, Blackberry or whatever #teammoneyBruce Rioja wrote:How much are they?Hoboh wrote:iphones are for those with more money to waste than sense, not given much choice though between Google and apple we are servants of the corporation!jaffka wrote:iphones for the elite and everything else are for povs

No expense spared with me.. I've got this thing too, which you can put bread in for a pre-determined amount of timed and it comes out as toast. It's called a toaster. Don't even use my grill anymore.Bruce Rioja wrote:Cheers, Boris. Ever find there's some bread that just doesn't fit the toaster???? That's an Apple toaster, that is. Can do pretty much any bread under the grill...boltonboris wrote:No expense spared with me..
