Several. Not so much because they were crap, but because when the Liverpool groups were at Leigh Casino or Talk of the North, you couldn't get near the stage to see, hear the music or even hear yourself think for hundreds of screaming girls. More than once we gave up and went to the pub.

Right. I've had a bit of a rummage in the bottom drawer. Yesterday's mood was not one suited for research. Today is a bit better. Many of their songs are familiar but it seems they tended to do 'covers' rather than write their own music and lyrics. The Sun Ain't Gonna Shine, as mentioned by Worthy, was apparently written by one of the Four Seasons and recorded by them with Frankie Valli as the lead singer. So, mind joggled, I still don't recall the group's name as being anything special.

Yes, TANGO, I recall those days. Do kiddies still scream and faint at concerts? My first experience of that phenomenon was when The Beatles popped over here for a series of concerts. Good grief! :conf:

Almost walked out of 'Bonfire of the Vanities'. Can't remember whether we (Mrs H and I) actually went with the intent to watch it, or whether there weren't any seats at our preferred film. Either way, it was absolute rubbish.
Hope is what keeps us going.
