VW, Lies, compo, and all things diesel

If you have a life outside of BWFC, then this is the place to tell us all about your toilet habits, and those bizarre fetishes.......

VW, Lies, compo, and all things diesel

Post by Lost Leopard Spot » Thu Oct 01, 2015 4:40 pm

Never having had the fortune of payouts (Building societies, PPI, tripping over scouse pavements, etc) I suddenly find myself scanning the news for the ever increasing list of cars with 'defeat mechanisms'. Maybe I can join a class action and get doshola heading my way. Then again, it's more likely lots of cxnts will get compo on their new work provided cars and I'll be left with massive bills to get my car past its MOT, into London, etc.
That is of course if I actually own a Skoda. Probably just in my imagination...

We c*nts, you shithouse, pay an amount of tax against the emissions given out by our cars and for many of us it's one of the deciding factors. So stick that in your fecking vapour-ciggie. ;)

So, to date you'll have been taxed against the claimed levels.

Only after his all does down would you possibly be asked for more ... at which point you'd have a case, as that wasn't what you made your tax option upon.

Now, if the Govt. tries to go back & tax you against your actual emission levels ... despite you being duped/lied to then -
a). They'd be crackers .... and
b). You'd have to forward said demands plus costs and damages to VW.

I think there's a way to go before how this is dealt with is decided.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Apart from the errors of grammar :P , yes, that's pretty much my take on it, starting from 31/5/2013. VW will be responsible for my underpayment and to settle any future differential.

Got to admit it was p*ss funny watching some kids pretending to choke when two trendy young things drove past in white decked out in bling Scirocco 2.0l diesel

I doubt they'll do anything retrospective - So I await a significant rebate on my road tax and an appropriate reduction going forwards.

Which has given me a brilliant idea... VW could harvest the errant emissions and use them to top up e-ciggies...
Everyone's a winner 8)
(apart of course from the people who actually inhale, but hey, no risk no gain  ).

Never quite worked out (except for some subtle marketing) the lure of the e-fag, rather have the real thing.

Excellent. Now we need a class action for the folks paying full whack. Victimization that is. I feel my human rights have been abused and I'm losing sleep over it. A back dated cheque for 9 years worth + damages should do it.
