I AM IRONMAN!!!! (Well, hopefully)

If you have a life outside of BWFC, then this is the place to tell us all about your toilet habits, and those bizarre fetishes.......

I AM IRONMAN!!!! (Well, hopefully)

Post by Gary the Enfield » Sun Jan 10, 2016 9:44 pm

Hello all
As some of you already know I am undertaking the Ironman in Bolton in July. I have decided to try and raise money for a friend of mine and her son, James. The story is on my pages listed below.

If you can, could you see fit to at least check out my pages and, if you can, spare a copper or two?

https://www.justgiving.com/search/selec ... tin4James2" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

https://www.justgiving.com/search/selec ... rtin4James" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Many thanks,

Martin

Fourth time lucky eh? :wink: This 'thread' has been keeping me entertained for the last hour or two.

Great cause and magnificent effort mate! :pray: For once, I will get there to watch Ironman this year.

Same here. I went for a couple of pints to watch it last year. Misjudged how long it went on for, as HG and his poor wife will testify. Absolute mess.

And thus is my dilemma. Traditionally people have a 'dot M' tattoo on completing the race. I'm thinking of incorporating the Iron Man marvel character with a Sabbath theme whilst retaining the 'dot M' basis. Seeking inspiration.......

Every faith in you, Buddy, but a mate of mine pulled a hamstring in the run. As you can imagine, he was saddened somewhat.

You'll do it easily. You're not a panic fanny. But I've no idea about what tat you should have. (actually, that's a lie - I fxckin hate tattoos - except on Maoris and Sumo wrestlers. So don't have one.)
