A bizarre night indeed

Post by wigan white » Tue Jan 12, 2016 10:55 pm

Strange night for me, heard loads of banging and shouting next door in my Chinese neighbours house which I thought was odd as he's usually quiet, then 20mins later, I go out the front door to be confronted by 3 police vans and a police car. Turns out that for the past 4 years I've been living next door to a Cannabis Farm, which in turn got taxed by scallys at 7.15 tonight who made off with loads of cannabis and then a different neighbour called the police about the disturbance and now my Chinese neighbour has done a runner

Too be fair, I did occasionally but it wasn't overly obvious which made me question if they were cultivating it or just heavy personal use.

Just goes to show that stereotyping doesn't always work, I'd have had him down as an opium grower.
That's not a leopard!

That's not too far out to be honest

The police still took out about 4 bin bags full of stuff and are still here today taking all the lamps etc out. Although still no sign of "Tony" my Chinese neighbour

Is he Chinese? The vast majority of those running cannabis 'farms' are Vietnamese for some strange reason. The cops have taken to circling round in the helicopter looking for massive heat signals from terraced houses as a way to spot them. Oh, and check your lecky meter, they always wire into next door, usually through the loft!

I'm pretty sure I posted this at the time, (about three/four years ago). My second eldest daughter lives in Bolton but owns a house in Farnworth. Unable to sell it directly for some time, she put it up for let. Two Vietnamese guys (yes, that's right) applied and paid the rent and deposit on the house. Two policemen pulled up outside the house one day on unrelated business and, seeing them, the V's jumped in a car and shot off. The police went into the house and found every room, upstairs and down, deep in soil and canabis plants everywhere. The V's were never seen again and the house had to be cleared and re-let. No, I have no free samples...
