Although I've watched the game for years I never played it, so whilst I have a grasp of the basics, some of the tech stuff/finer points of the play is still a bit beyond me. Thought the whole team deserved a MOTM for the second half. The new lad at no 20 really got stuck in and contributed and Hartley seemed to enjoy being captain. I couldn't fault anybody and thought the last try was great.

Aye, improvement by Ireland second half. They did cross the line twice. Coulda been so much different...

Thought it was a good tough, battling game and pretty evenly matched in terms of effort.Vunipola was immense even to an amateur like me. Thought our defence was good because the Irish were very quick on the break. Didn't always understand why so many penalties were given or the reasons for them, but sometimes it's better not to be an expert, manager or ref and just sit back and enjoy the game. That I certainly did. The sweet chariots were swinging low this evening.
