Did I hear right that we knocked 20+ odd off of the first over?

Thing with 20/20 is if a team gets going and particularly a batsman gets going it is so hard to stop them.

We saw with Gayle and the Windies just knocking off 180 odd with ease the other day.

Root was the man today. Easy to get carried away about poor bowling. And we did bowl poorly. But bowling right now on a flat track in one day games can be virtually impossible.

Great stuff.

Sri Lanka win the toss - we're batting first...

I suspect we'd rather have bowled first!

Stokes only faced one ball but it went a long way.
