BBC says the match is suspended - not sure why but there is still hope.jimbo wrote:Currently 6/4. Those 3 early wins feel like a long time ago!

It is, but I think we have a bit more to worry about at the other end of the table, after our good start to the season..

It's looking a bit bleak in our last run out of the season. Needing 11 points for guaranteed safety we're 39-4 in reply to 219 by Warwicks. If we lose to Warwicks and they go above us, Hants have hit 411 against Durham, we could be in real trouble.

There's always a chance of rain... but not much. Weather tends to kill our hopes one way or another.Worthy4England wrote:It's looking a bit bleak in our last run out of the season. We were bowled out for 152 - RSP about 40 minutes ago.Montreal Wanderer wrote:There's always a chance of rain... but not much. They'll have 1 point batting and 3 points bowling. We'll have 3 points bowling...we could do with it raining in Warwickshire for another two days...
Re: Lancasheeeeer!
Durham digging in which could just come to save us. Going to be bloody tight at both ends of the table though. Looking forward to following it over the next day and a half

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Do Hampshire have to win if we lose or will a draw be good enough for them?bobo the clown wrote:W need rain tomorrow otherwise and guess what ..... t's going to be nice in Warwickshire.jimbo wrote:Durham digging in which could just come to save us. If we lose, hants have to win to stay up. We go down at their expense.
If we draw/win, a draw will put hants above Warwickshire and they will go down
At the top of the table the winner of Middlesex and Yorkshire wins the league. If that's a draw, Somerset win.
All set for an intriguing last day!

After a tremendous start to our season it went badly awry. Thankfully we've scraped our way out of it.
