Th'olympics 2016

Post by bobo the clown » Sun Aug 07, 2016 12:09 pm

For everyone except the Bish, as he hates the Olympics, largely because everyone else loves them.

I watched a French gymnast fall and snap his leg this morning. Oh my word. :vomit: :vomit:

Brazilian women's football team would beat England. Fact.

The road race was awesome. Real shame for Nibali, Thomas and the other lad but great drama.

Saw a pic of that gymnast's leg. Ugh.

Watching the women's cycling. Yesterday the cameras kept coming across the odd rider sat in the gutter after a fall. They've just captured a Dutch lass come off and have a sickening collision with the kerb. Looked a bad one. :(

Yes, but she is conscious and taken to hospital. They say she'll be okay. Poor kid had the gold in her grasp.

The lad Petry was brilliant. Gold in a massive world record.
Phelps with a 19th Olympic gold. Incredible.

I notice that our over hyped motley crew in Rio are living up to expectations, few podium finishes despite all the cash poured into athletics and other sports in recent years.
At least that fcukin' Rebeca Adlington's ugly mug may vanish from my Cornflake packet, never to return.
