Another world record by our cyclists. We're almost blasé about it now. Absolutely smashed the kiwis there

One of our girls got silver in the swimming. She finished 7 seconds behind the American winner...

Our women wheelers break their own world record and take gold. That's three for Jason Kenny's girl, Laura Trott.

They've just won a gold and have broken the world record twice in a row, is that really necessary?

Well proud of all our athletes at every level. We got a silver in the mens swimming relay just behind the Yanks with Michael Phelps in their team, Jessica Ennis got silver and Mo Farah, well, what an amazing runner that man is..Respect to all of them...

Agreed Tango, some great sport yesterday. Shame Jessica couldn't bow out with a Gold but the Belgian girl was sensational. 21 is young for a top heptahlete and she got personal bests in 5 out of 7 events.
Don't forget Greg Rutherford, struggled to qualify but then pulled out his best jump in the last round. Rarely the longest jumper in the world but a great competitor.
...

I just watched some fckg moron lean down to pick up Henri Stenton's golf ball after his drive.

Then noticed that, despite instructions at every shot, a goodly number of people not actually watching the fckg games but filming & photographing throughout. Eeejits

Wasn't Stenson's ball, but was an act of enbelievable stupidity.
