A not so subtle hint for a Xmas present

Post by beforeiforget » Mon Dec 12, 2016 2:35 pm

Love is a funny old thing innit? I've already done all my xmas shopping, but my other half has been quietly (edit: very obviously) requesting a new bedside lamp... which is fair as I did break it when attempting to shuffle furniture around. :D

I think she wants me to buy it, even though I'm so out of touch with this stuff...

So.. help please? Go online and buy it and hope it comes before xmas? Or wander around Ikea and find something...

Ah that's a good idea. You've bought some stuff from there?

Get one of these if you want the 'joke' present. I use one occasionally if I don't have enough hands to carry a normal torch.

Do not trust atoms. They make up everything.

Haha, you know, I think I might actually do the minor's lamp in addition to a serious gift ;) A bit of internet sleuthing led me to this coupon site https://www.couponbox.com/coupons/lamps-plus" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;, so I like the idea of picking up something via there. It will be nice to save a bit of dosh before xmas! :D

Anyone else been struggling for xmas present ideas?
