What a load of bollocks.

Post by Enoch » Sun May 12, 2019 10:33 pm

Why oh why do the media, particularly the BBC, insist on wrapping everything in cotton wool.

Today, apparently, the Kent Coastguard rescued two boatloads of 'suspected migrants' from the channel.

Sus f*cking pected!

What else might they have been, day f*cking trippers!

Stop with all this bollocks; call a spade a spade.

Same organisation that should stand on it's own two feet instead of the licence payer having to stump up for it's PC messaging.
In the commercial world half of the prats running it and the liberal tree huggers would be seeking employment elsewhere

The BBC used to be an inspirational, world class, leading institution.
Used to be, being the operative phrase. Now run by a bunch of Timothys and Timothettes.

On second thoughts, maybe they were fleeing to the 'so-called United Kingdom'.

That'd make you sit up and think wouldn't it, whenever on the BBC they'd start a news story about May with the phrase "Theresa May, Prime Minister of the so-called United Kingdom..."

Spare a thought for the poor victim here. No, not the schoolgirl who was robbed, but the 28 year old drug addicted cyclist who tried to rob her of a mobile phone as he rode past. That seem to be the defence message here ? :

What you’ve highlighted is a quote from a defence lawyer doing their job.

He was found guilty and given a suspended sentence.

I’d also pick you up on you using the term cyclist! Someone riding a bike does not mean they’re a cyclist and I don’t want tarring with the same brush as him! 😉

It doesn't matter who you are, it's what you do that counts. 52 million cyclists in this country! How did it get to this stage? What are we, fxcking Dutch???

Well, apologies for the cyclist bit, and we certainly would be in a mess without law and order, but...well, in this case I think I'll stay with the load of bollocks bit. How might you feel if it were your daughter? ....

Oh I’d undoubtably be furious, but there’s always going to be a defence offered in the trial. It seems like a routine story of man does bad thing, is found guilty, prosecution case and defence case roughly outlined in the news report.

I read a report that states badgers are the most reported roadkill so far this year, badgers 905, foxes 475, hedgehogs 453.

It's one of those nothing stories, who the f*ck bothers to ring busybody central when they see a fox's brains all over the road? I must have seen 475 myself this year within a half mile of my front door.

Badger I can sort of understand as they can be pretty big and might cause an issue if it’s a busy road, but a bloody hedgehog!? Are people worried the spines might cause punctures!?

I have personally run over 1,237,628 pheasants this week. I've additionally seen another two concussed by passing cyclists.
Last week I slaughtered over 5,000 songbirds, 20,000 grey squirrels, 3 snails, and one illegal immigrant (I presume he was illegal).
None of them got reported. I didn't know there was a reportage scheme! Now I know, I will keep them updated on the roadkill in my neck of the roads - there's enough here to feed all of Zimbabwe and have enough left over to stabilise their currency.

According to some media reports (The Guardian being one who commented) there has been talk of the organisers of Strictly Come Dancing discussing the future possibilities of same-sex partner dancing in the show. Without getting too deep into it, that will surely be like dropping a match in a box of fireworks? Why mess with the format of one of the most popular ( family) shows on T.V.? Answers on a postcard to Craig Revel Horwood who apparently supports the idea. I mention it only because the topic arose on a dance forum I belong to. It'll surely never happen?

Of course it'll happen. Who's brave enough to risk their media career by objecting?
