Aye, scores didn't really reflect much with only Wales interception try much from the homers. I did think our defence was pretty impressive in general and good to see Courtney Lawes back in business. Well impressed with Freddie Steward, a deserved M.O.T.M . France and Italy are both bear traps, so....

George Fiord out after one trip, Smith in. Shame about Courtney Lawes. So long out then one game back and injured again.

Ford is s difficult one to pick, as to why Borthwick has done this. About the only think I could really point to is that Ford hasn't had much rugby in his legs - he's only had around 3 games worth of participation, recently after his injury - and we have probably the two toughest fixtures in France and Ireland to come (apols to the Scots who we've already lost to :-) ).

Seems a little strange to me, but that's about all I can come up with.

Smith in, Owen Farrell on the bench. Dan Cole still battling in there. Who'll be taking penalty kicks and conversions? (providing we get any of course.)

It's all a bit "interesting" with Ford, Smith and Farrell...I thought he might have "made up his mind" when he picked Farrell and used Ford as Sub. Now he's starting Smith - who will do the kicking (for the most part)...

Not going to be easy games for the last two then. (was it ever with France and Ireland.) Hope the boss man got it right.

I know Alan Wyn Jones is at the back end of his career, but still a bit surprised he's dropped here. Wales could do with winning this.

Made to look very ordinary by a classy French side. In short, hammered. :(

Worst day since 1066. They played a great game and showed why they are currently worlds No2. But we weren't ordinary. We were awful. So many unforced errors and missed tackles. You could see what was coming after 2 minutes.

They need to hang their collective heads, stop talking about WC and regroup to face the world's No1 team, away the day after St. Pats...my only hope is that the Irish all go on the pi$$ the day before because we're going to get a proper shoeing if not.

Aye, have to agree. Felt sorry for a few who seemed to be really giving it their all, Maro Itoji etc, but there were no real redeeming features. Right now, W.C.is a pipe dream.

Glad Ireland won the Nations as we were also rans especially playing with a man down for so long. Somehow, never fancied us to win today. Ireland wanted it. Well done and good luck to them. England need to rebuild.

Never glad when someone other than England win against England :-)

We played really pretty well away from home, first half, it was very close 15 v 15. Second half, we were always going to struggle away from home with 14 against the team ranked number 1 in the world...

Crazy game too-ing and fro-ing like mad second half. Credit to the few and a good win. In all, a very good day's sport: The Lionesses came from behind to beat a good Colombian side, The Whites topped the league, England beat Wales and neighbours Leigh won the Rugby League Challenge Cup against Hull. It'll do thank you...
