Round one results:

GERRARD - 173

BALLACK - 177

BALLACK ADVANCES!!

Round two see's our very own Fox in the box, against a certain Mr Totti. Try to be unbiased fella's

BORGETTI

Date of birth: 14 August 1973
Height: 182 cm
Weight: 78 kg
Position: Forward
Current Club: Bolton Wanderers (ENG)
Int'l Goals: 38 (as of 2-Jun-2006)
Int'l Caps: 75 (as of 2-Jun-2006)
First Int'l Cap: Mexico v. Ecuador ( 5-Feb-1997)

Jared Borgetti is not just your average striker. Few frontmen can claim to have the goalscoring ability of this lethal penalty-box predator, a man who boasts the best strike rate in the history of the Mexico team – a formidable 37 goals in 73 games. In a career that has taken him from his homeland to Europe, he has proven his all-round finishing skills time and time again.

VERSUS

TOTTI

Date of birth: 27 September 1976
Height: 180 cm
Weight: 82 kg
Position: Midfielder
Current Club: Roma (ITA)
Int'l Goals: 8 (as of 1-Jun-2006)
Int'l Caps: 50 (as of 1-Jun-2006)
First Int'l Cap: Italy v. Switzerland (10-Oct-1998)

Francesco Totti is one of Italy's most loved soccer players.

A free spirit, Totti has magnificent technique and can play in a variety of positions. His skills are perhaps seen at their best when he plays just behind the forward strikers. An excellent passer of the ball and a renowned free-kick specialist Totti can set up goals as well as score them. A one club man, Totti supported AS Roma as a boy and first appeared in their colors at the age of 16 in a 2:0 road victory over Brescia in March 1993.

in my opinion, having watched both in their respective leagues for years, the tiebreaker goes to Borgetti on the basis that other strikers have fared better in pairing with him. it has never mattered who was paired up front with him, but the lucky recipient has always gotten a fair share of goals. one can only wait to see what he could do to spark goals in Vaz te or Davies
