  Bruce

I would have got about 4/10 if I hadn't had a lot of Bruce's questions.

While I knew Cornwallis, thank you Bruce for the Sweeney Todd answer and the county clerk's office. I still screwed up Caramon picking Lorac in a senior moment. Messed up on a Group 3 Euro 2004 question  and who provided security for the Rolling Stones in 1969. But at least Bruce saved me from total embarassment.

Very appropriate - I'm quite often stuck.

Don't worry, Hoolio, I don't think it's a record.

I'm kicking myself over this one! I really should have known it.

7. What is the name of Lirael's sword?

Your answer: Kibeth

The correct answer was Nehima

Nehima is a Clayr heirloom given to Lirael by Sanar and Ryelle. It was made by the Wallmakers and is Charter-spelled for greater protection against the Dead and Free Magic constructs or necromancers. Lirael is not a great swordswoman, because she skipped classes to be away from other Clayr. She also avoids talking because their conversation always turns to the Sight, which she does not have and never will.

Grrrrr!
9. Bheeshma won the hands of three princesses for Vichitraveerya. Who were they?

Your answer: Aurupini, Abhirami and Ambika

The correct answer was Amba, Ambika and Ambalika
Also, one that I completely guessed, being:

7. What is Lan angry about when he burst in on Nynaeve, Elayne and Egwene in Book 4, Chapter 16?

Your answer: None of these

Nynaeve hadn't told Lan that she was going to Tanchico, he had assumed that she was going back to The White Tower. He didn't want her to go to Tanchico because it was a very, very dangerous place for a woman with no guard. Lan offered to break his oaths to Moiraine and go with Nynaeve, but she told him his place was with Moiraine. So instead he lifted her up and gave her a very passionate kiss, in front of Egwene and Elayne!

I'm sure if you'd thought about it for a bit instead of finishing in 32 seconds you would have got it right.

Arse, I'm not happy about that. Mis-clicked on a very easy question, and it didn't register my answer. Admittedly I had to guess at number 10, but it should have been a 9 today and not an 8, and another stupidly good time too...

Aaaarrggh!! I've gotta get broadband. I completed it in about 60 seconds top today and then the thing took a bloody age to respond after I had submitted my answers. 107 seconds my arse! Still, back at work tomorrow so should be a bit nippier angry boss notwithstanding.

Rookie error today. A 'long river' question, and somehow completely missed out that 'the nile' was one of the potential answers. I'm sure it wasn't there. Honest. D'oh
