Other Football Forum recomendations?
I'm looking for a bit of help please.
I've had the idea (pinched from Blurred) to post a questionnaire on opponents forum footy sites, the week before we play them to ask for their views of the forthcoming game.
Obviously I rather avoid the abuse from the more moronic sites and thus I ask for your recommendations. Obviously we are already sorted with the Liverpool site (and Hoolio's Sunderland site - if we draw them in the cup!).
I know the season is a while of yet, but I need to register on the sites and come up with a set of questions to ask them, so I don't want to be doing this at the last minute so to speak.
So all help would be greatly appreciated - Thanks

My idea is to get at least one site for every premiership club and to ask on each site a standard set of questions of what they think about them playing Bolton in the next match, which of their players should we watch out for, etc, and then if they are cool about it, go back and ask them for there view of the match after we had played them.TANGODANCER wrote:There are decent fans on most sites Sluffy. At least we don't attract the morons who bomarded 606. I'd target Charlton, Liverpool and Boro for starters, and it might be an idea to have a go at the new boys, Reading, Sheffield etc..
I know that a number of TW'ers visit other forums, so I thought if they would be kind enough to point me in the right direction it would make the job a bit easier.
Who knows it might lead a to a bit of linking with various sites to the benefit of all.

A few of the better Liverpool ones for you:
Red all over the land (www.raotl.co.uk)
YNWA (www.ynwa.tv)
Red and White Kop (www.redandwhitekop.com)
RAWK would be the biggest in terms of members of the above (Just over 17,700) which means there are a fair collection of nob-heads, but also quite a few who know their stuff.

Part of the problem with 'success', both in terms of the team and the forum. More successful team means an influx of Johnny come latelys and dickheads in general, and of course with that many people on a forum you're always going to get quite a few who don't get on with others. As people for the most part they're all sound, however there are some strange opinions on football around those parts!Bruce Rioja wrote:Indeed, Blurred, we remember them well.blurred wrote:RAWK would be the biggest in terms of members of the above (Just over 17,700) which means there are a fair collection of nob-heads, but also quite a few who know their stuff.

Broadly speaking, they're a good bunch on RAWK - I enjoyed my brief sojourn on there until I found TW - but the last 9,000 members don't seem to have improved the site in my humble opinion.blurred wrote:Part of the problem with 'success', both in terms of the team and the forum. Absolutely, I just put the stick that we took down to those with the least to say, saying it the loudest. It was just a shame that a bunch of stuff that was meant as obvious good natured banter got taken out of context by one or two. Hey, no harm done!blurred wrote:Part of the problem with 'success', both in terms of the team and the forum. May the bridges I burn light your way

www.liverpoolway.co.uk are a good lot, but some of the stuff they say about Bolton might make your eyes bleed.
