What are you playing tonight?

If you have a life outside of BWFC, then this is the place to tell us all about your toilet habits, and those bizarre fetishes.......

I'm anticipating the White Lies album very much, so been listening to a lot of them. But also the most played thing on my ipod is the Julian Casablancas solo album

Dusted off some Al Stewart. Some stuff I'm not keen on, but some excellent tracks in there too.

Roads to Moscow is immense.

I pre ordered a 5 song colored 7inch record, even though I downloaded it and didn't like it.

Tchaikovsky - 6th - Pathetique
Debussy - Suite bergamasque
Gorecki - No3 - Symphony of sorrowful songs
Beethoven 6th - Pastorale and a bit of Magic Flute
and the odd bit of Mahler and some Wagner.

Tomorrow I will be back to Motorhead.

wow - in a slow and aching search for the sublime, then?

It comes to all of us from time to time...

I don't know the Gorecki... off to you tube to check...

2nd movement was based around the words of an 18 year old girl found on the inside of a Gestapo cell. Makes it all the more evocative for me.

How stupid of me - I did know it, of course, and I've just listened... And am in tears...

Above or below Hunky Dory and Aladdin Sane?
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.
