What are you playing tonight?

If you have a life outside of BWFC, then this is the place to tell us all about your toilet habits, and those bizarre fetishes.......

Love the song in the Llewyn jones trailer, so been playing that a lot today. Discovered Marcus Mumford is on it.

I feel conflicted.

Forgot about them. Are they still going? saw them do a great set supporting the White Stripes, but then when I saw them headline at the Roadhouse they were disappointing.

Lick My Decals, Baby is a Beefheart album that has someone evaded me. It seems to be out of print except for on Vinyl (I'd have to buy a record player just for it, being of the era I am & not a hipster).

I've got it both on vinyl and on CD. I'll make a copy if you want.

I'm not very technical when it comes to this sort of thing, but I'll bring my CD into work tomorrow... I'm sure I can find someone who knows how to copy it.

(I've got just about everything by him except for the Blue Jeans and Moonbeams trio, which I don't want anyway, cheers)

I'll keep you posted on progress, but it will get copied one way or t'other. :D

Got it burned this morning, Beefy. Your Xmas present awaits... PM me your address and I'll post it soon as.
And, if I say so myself, I've done a stunning job of forgery on the case. It looks exactly like the original.

I was looking through the site I use for downloads last evening and saw a 4 album compilation of 60's & 70's stuff. To be honest I have virtually all of it in one form or another, but noticed that there seemed to be some odd songs linked to artists.

It turns out that the artists are correct, but the songs are mis-named. Which is a shame as some of these versions would have been amazing to hear !!

100 Huge Hits of the 60’s & 70’s Album 1 of 4

Kinks – Teenage Kicks
Chris Farlowe – 7 Teen
The Small Faces – Hersham Boys
P.P. Arnold – Jilted John
The Searchers – Roadrunner
The Foundations – Double Barrel
The Tremeloes – Uptown Top Ranking
The Marmalade – Everything I Own
The Tornados – Love Of The Common People
Petula Clark – Young, Gifted And Black
John Leyton – You Can Get It If You Really Want
Kenny Ball And His Jazz Men – You'vce Got Me Dangling On A String
Joe Brown And The Bruvvers – I'm Doin' Fine Now
Johnny Preston – Shame, Shame, Shame
Lonnie Doegan – Why Did You Do It?
Emile Ford And The Checkmates – Sad Sweet Dreamer
Marcels – Lost In France
Ivy League – Isn't She Lovely
Joe Dolan – After The Goldrush
Donovan – Back Home
Fleetwood Mac – The Man Who Sold The World
Jackie Trent – Baby Jump
Jimmy Cliff – The Devil's Answer
Dave Davis – Fanfare For The Common Man
Status Quo – Natural Born Bugie
Amen Corner – Lola
Chris Farlowe – Handbags And Gladrags
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Jimmy Cliff doing Atomic Rooster's 'Devil's Answer' would be a doozie as well.
