What are you playing tonight?

If you have a life outside of BWFC, then this is the place to tell us all about your toilet habits, and those bizarre fetishes.......

It's understandable for the owd gimmers.

And on that showing a particularly poor one!
There's a few youtube vids knocking about which show just how much they rip off other bands. For instance, does this sound familiar?

Straight away recognised it as something very similar to the clash - London's calling  .

There's no band from before your time that you'd get excited about reforming?
Oasis? going by the stuff that Beady Eye and Noel Gallagher's High Flying birds have produced since the split I would say they would have a pretty good chance of reaching the standards of the early day of Oasis.

Perhaps people want to go because they want to see someone regarded as one of the all time greats (by many) perform live? I mean there are certain acts I would go and see live without necessarily knowing their back catalogue or even hugely liking their stuff, just to have the experience.

Especially with dobs like Kate's.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

"Yah, she's like really cool and edgy yah"

I'm with you Pru.. Anybody under 30 shouldn't be interested in this kind of stuff.

Also agree with you on the Stone Roses and people pretending to like them..

I actually do like the Stone Roses but do not know anyone else of my generation who does. God to be 40 years older and to have actually known what good music is like, the thought of my generation reminiscing about Jay feck* Z in 30 years time repulses me.

Erm, why? It's all just sounds put in a certain order, don't see how Jay-Z is any less valid than say The Beatles?

I'd give 'The Blueprint' a listen.

Until reading this thread I didn't know there was an age limit for certain artists.
