What are you playing tonight?

If you have a life outside of BWFC, then this is the place to tell us all about your toilet habits, and those bizarre fetishes.......

Today I'm playing Chuck Ragan's new album, 'Till Midnight'. It's fecking ace. Proper steak on his voice!

Somewhere between Springsteen and bluegrass. LeverEnd, get on it! + any Gaslight fans. + Everyone.
It's fantastic. Although for me nothing will top Feast or Famine.

I'm with you Pru.. Anybody under 30 shouldn't be interested in this kind of stuff.

Also agree with you on the Stone Roses and people pretending to like them..
I wouldn't mind if I thought they actually did!
I actually do like the Stone Roses but do not know anyone else of my generation who does. God to be 40 years older and to have actually known what good music is like, the thought of my generation reminiscing about Jay feck Z in 30 years time repulses me.
Erm, why? It's all just sounds put in a certain order, don't see how Jay-Z is any less valid than say The Beatles?

I'd give 'The Blueprint' a listen.
I tried to like it, I really did but I just can't.

Today is the anniversary of Marvin Gaye's death.

Whilst not a particular fan his music touched many. Extraordinarily however it is his 30th anniversary. THIRTY bloomin' years.

For all the children out there take note. Time is a bastard and has a horrible habit of sneaking up on you. It will happen to you as well.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Is he the one we slag off because he has a big house, or because he didn't move out of his small house into a big house?

I always get mixed up.

Another song the Enemy stole  . Realising they haven't actually written any of their music themselves has completely put me of them.

Been listening to Eddie Vedder's Into The Wild soundtrack album. Some great tracks on that from one of the best rock vocalists of my lifetime.
