Hah! I really like this track. Not given the album much attention (nor King of Limbs in all honesty) but I am very happy to have tickets to see them next year. First time since 2008 about about the 10th time overall.

Hey, I love and appreciate wonderful orchestration as much as anyone, but do I want to hear it from Radiohead? Of course, they've every right to take their music in the direction of their choosing, but as you know, I'm a guitar band boy, and Radiohead managed to to smash through regular limitations with what they did with The Bends. They didn't just create an idiosyncratic sound (as per, say, Marr with The Smiths), they created a completely different direction, and I wish that they'd taken it as far as they could. I saw them play The Apollo between The Bends and OK Computer - they were truly outstanding. I'm happy with my memories of that night and am happy to leave it there.

Absolutely sound as a pound. I first saw em in Warrington in October 2000 on the eve of (literally the night before) Kid A and was blown away (I was 17) - a first inclination of their move away from the guitar driven music that had been the staple of their output. Since then I have seen them plenty (up until 2008) and have been very happy with their experimentation! From Pablo Honey through The Bends to OK Computer there was definite, obvious progress (peaking with OK Comp), and after that it's been far more diverse (and lovely). In their minds, they probably thought that they had taken it as far as they could - hence the evolution of their music. I can't wait to see them again!
