Got what we deserved

Post by fanz » Sun Jul 02, 2006 8:10 am

Absolutley nothing. Garbage football throughout and all the idiots harping on about how it was our year? rubbish. We played awful football under the biggest con man in the world and all we have to look forward to now is another totally uninspiring yes man who will take English football back to where Graham Taylor took us.

We have missed out on the ultimate coach, Scolari, he would have won us a european championsip or a world cup without doubt. The FA should have some bollox and fire Maclaren now and instate Scolari at the end of this tournament. They won't though so expect another 5 years of watching Beckham, fat frank and Gerrard which everyone in the world knows doesn't work but we persist with anyway.

FA=F**king Arseholes

Yet another painful experience. We didn't play a single decent team in the competition and yet we still managed to make the opposition look good. We were crap from the first game to the last. Eriksson has blown our best chance of winning the World Cup for a generation. There is no such thing as glorious failure, just failure.

Must agree this time with Fanz, well everything except the last sentence that I haven't bothered to quote. Except I'm not convinced that Beckham will play for England again. If Maclaren is going to be his own man then he must make lots of changes to the team now and bring in the young guns to give them a chance to develop through the European Championships in preparation for a challenge on the next World Cup.
Depression is just a state of mind, supporting Bolton is also a state of mind hence supporting Bolton must be depressing QED

I almost agree, perhaps not with the wording but with the sentiment.

We were lucky to be in the Quarters, given that Sven seems to have done his best to feck us up totally.

Shite squad selection.
Shite tactics.
Shite formation.

Seems to me that he decided to get his own back on the press and the F.A. and the supporters for all the things said and done in the past.

He is now at home somewhere laughing his B0ll0cks off at the whole English Nation.
