The signing of the season?

Post by Soldier_Of_The_White_Army » Wed Nov 01, 2006 5:06 pm

So far.

I know it's still pretty early but who would you say has been the best Premiership signing of the season so far?

As much as I hate to say it, I would have to go with Sol Campbell. I don't think there were many people who didn't think this was a disaster waiting to happen and a huge gamble, yet rather surprisingly he has been playing better then he did at Arsenal so far and must feel gutted not to even feature in the current England squad.

Well that's mine, who would be yours?

Pauls Hince of the Manchester Evening News said during a recent game that he should be substituted but that first City would need to gain planning permission from the local council to have him removed

seriously though i think Woodgate has been a good signing

Sol Campbell has been world class his entire career save about 9 months, it's been no shock to me that he's been a rock for Portsouth and I was surprised when Arsenal didn't stand by him.

Andy Johnson probably.

That kid Arsenal have had at full back looks pretty handy, or getting Cesc on a long term deal.

For us it is probably getting Campo signed up again.

Its not Shevchenko! Ballack is starting to look good though, but it has to be Johnson.

What about Kanu though?? He's scored more goals so far this season than the last 5 combined!
