2154: FULL-TIME Southend 1-0 Manchester United
Patrice Evra tees up Wayne Rooney on the edge of the area but the England international's shot is blocked and Southend survive for a sensational result.

In other news, Southend's future attendances take a dive after several hundred fans are caught on tv proudly running on to the pitch, all receiving banning orders.

Oh, what's that? They didn't? I guess it must be allowable then, and we can just choose when we enforce the law and when we don't

What does it happen if a CL-qualified team wins the Carling Cup? Who gets the UEFA spot then?

Goes onto the league. But in the FA Cup the runner up gets it (unless they are in the CL as well). I've always found that a tad harsh..
