Question

If you have a life outside of BWFC, then this is the place to tell us all about your toilet habits, and those bizarre fetishes.......

Question

Post by 77,78,81,84,05 » Fri Dec 01, 2006 6:11 pm

Is there any Liverpool player who you would not take and put into the Bolton first team.

Jussi would get Number 1 for me for now as Reina is shot to pieces

Also that Faye will be class in a few years. But not yet.

I wouldn't take any of them. Maybe Gerrard.

At the moment I might take Riise on loan, but Gardner is better.

Reina - crap
Finnan - crap
Hyppia - crap
Carragher - crap
Alonso - crap
Garcia - crap
Pennant - crap
Sissoko - crap
Crouch - crap
Kuyt - crap
Bellamy - crap

The ones in bold I would not put in a Liverpool Bolton 11

I would have

Jussi

Hunt
Carra
Agger
Riise

Gerrard
Momo
Xabi
Garcia

Kuyt
Anelka

from a purely individual talent pov jussi would get in net, gardner at left back, the rest would probably be a liverpool team, anelka vs crouch & kuyt is close though.

I'd take Gerrard, he' unlock so much for us. We are in desperate need of creativity and passing from someone further up than Campo. Nolan is suffering from this as well. He has no scraps to clean up, and he's constantly caught with the ball because he can be pressed with no outlet in midfield that wont just sidefoot a pass to another marked man.

truthfully we just need a pacey midfielder who can pass. i dont give a damn if he can sore. Having said that I'd take Gerrard any day of the week and twice on Sundays.

Mmmm... I'll do it for Barça to add variety

GK: Víctor Valdés
(already seen Reina on goal for us, no need to repeat it  )

RB: Zambrotta
CB: Agger
CB: Carles Puyol
LB: Riise

MF: Xabi Alonso
MF: Deco
MF: Iniesta / Xavi (still undecided on these two!)

LW: Ronaldinho
CF: Samuel Eto'o
RW: Lionel Messi

Perhaps Ronaldinho would get in my Bolton / Barca combo.

Perhaps.

Would be a decent impact sub, maybe.

I am just imagining the long haired one coming on in the 75th minute of a typical 0-0 Bolton match. Priceless.

With our left back problem and Rise available? No contest, get in there. Would take Agger too without a doubt.

ok ok I'm bored, I'll play. Using our Liverpudlian friends team as a basis...

Jussi

O'Brien
Carra
Tal Ben Haim
Gardner (of last season)

Gerrard
Campo
Alonso

Diouf
Kuyt / Bellamy (on form)
Anelka

Potential for O'Brien to be replaced by Finnan, or even Hunt if he keeps it up.

Fact is I have put plenty of BWFC in there - and actually believe it. Shows how far we have come. And how Liverpool are just as average as the rest of us in this league.

That Agger makes me larf, half a dozen good games, yet still shit against the big boys, and he is the "new Hansen".

He won't be at Liverpool this time in 12mths, he will do some strange cock up and be farmed out.

Riise, the best attacking Left back in the Premiership and has been for some time IMV.

Notice I said best attacking fullback and not best fullback before you all jump on the Ricky wagon!

Apart from this season when he's been absolute dog-turd.
