Wasn't that Joe Mason vs Rotherham last season?Gary the Enfield wrote:Abdoulaye's Twin wrote:Starts at midnight for me, which is far too late. I've met you. You'll need a coma. X
We'll win this 4-1
And the first home player to score a hat-trick at the Macron will emerge to kickstart our revival and subsequent climb up the table, out of relegation and into lower midtable mediocrity.
COME ON YOU WHITES!!!!!!!!!
Failing that, I think you have chosen to regress to the 2001-02 game vs Ipswich. Fredi Bobic!! I was still shitting myself when we led 4-0 at half time in that game!

It was indeed a reference back to that 4-1 Ipswich game.Burnden Paddock wrote:Wasn't that Joe Mason vs Rotherham last season?Gary the Enfield wrote:Abdoulaye's Twin wrote:Starts at midnight for me, which is far too late. We shouldn't talk about fat ladies singing. Brings a mental image of two big brass circles like 0-0 when the actual score will be 2-0 to us.Aanvalluh wrote:8 - 8. Or is it just a fat lady singing??

Haven't been here in a while. I missed this place! 3-1 to the Super Whites...

Crikey!
Is this a match thread?
The surge commences here. Mad Mick and his boys get their knickers in a twist as we plough right through their playoff aspirations.

Unless Ipswich are coming for a line dance, then it must be the match thread

I so wish they'd play in gingham.

Really hoping recent events at the assizes won't have a negative effect on the players. Mick McCarthy will have his lot up for it regardless. A rendering of Abide With Me before the game in respect to the Burnden disaster should be quite poignant (once sang this at Wembley, a real lump in the throat experience) and then a rousing 2-0 home win.

We'll be winning with 89 mins to go,
All the other results will be going our way and NL will change it and we'll concede 2.
The rest of the results will change and we'll be 13 points adrift.
Lennon will carry on and we'll be told the take over will take another 48 hours.
I'd take a 1 nil home win though.

If I were N.L I'd have had the lot of them on shooting practise all weekend. Having watched a few training seesion videos, the net seems to get hit regularly; get em on the field in a match and it's Sunday league pub stuff.

TD! Shooting practice? His own private army ready to defend the barricades in case the new lot storm in with guns blazing? Giving given the bullet a new meaning...TANGODANCER wrote:If I were N.L I'd have had the lot of them on shooting practise all weekend. Maybe it's the pressure. "You can't practice for penalties," etc.TANGODANCER wrote:If I were N.L I'd have had the lot of them on shooting practise all weekend. Anyway, The Donny Ones will slaughter Charlton. We need a draw minimum. I fear a pasting. It is Mick 'mick' McCarthy we are up against after all.
If anybody can wipe our arse and thrust it it under our own noses to smell the shit, then obviously that'd be the manager of whom I've championed the last two times.
If Mick loses, I'll personally tear up his signed photo hanging over my bed, and never mention the cxnt again.
If, however, he wins... you'll never, ever, hear the last of it.

Wilson in for Vela, Trotter in for Madine. Zach and Feeney up top?
