Gibraltar, there's another problem to be considered. The Gibralfarians are worried that Spain will get feisty about its borders if we leave the EU. It's a point....

I believe a hell of a lot of Spaniards are employed on Gibraltar, if they get shirty the Spanish, maybe we should import some Bulgarians, Romanians and Poles in before we leave, just in case.

The prime minister has admitted for the first time his “fear” Britain could sleepwalk out of the EU. He told the Independent on Sunday that the result of the 23 June referendum was now on a knife-edge and revealed his biggest concern was in persuading enough people to turn out to deny victory to the Brexit campaign.

As the media ramps up & the migrant issue regrow for 2016 and the EU 'solution' is the one which opens the zone to 75m Turks (& fck knows how many not-really Turks) I think you're right Worthy.

And at maybe Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland will vote to stay in.

I'm pretty sure Scotland will. That will quickly precipitate a second In/Out referendum that will almost certainly result in an Out vote. So a vote for Out of Europe is likely to be also for a vote to break up the UK. Just thought I'd mention this in case there are others like Mr Farage who haven't joined the dots.

Nonsense. Panic fannies the lot of you. I keep saying this, but then it's true. You generally need a 10 point poll lead to win a referendum against the status quo. Last poll I saw, I think last weekend, using the referendum wording, had a TWELVE point lead for remain. It'll get ugly, and as it gets nearer the polls will get narrower, one a few days before will even have Brexit in front. Then the result will be to stay in by 8-10%.

And I'd be happy to settle that debt if I am, Harry. Interestingly I had eight meetings with Dutch blokes the week before last, all of whom asked me at the end of our meeting which way I'd be voting. I turned the question round on all of them and asked them what they'd do if they were me. All of them said that if they had the chance then The Netherlands couldn't get out of Europe fast enough.

I'm still waiting for some erudite, balanced type such as Mervyn King to run through the pros and cons rather than listening to either Cameron or the 4uckwit Mayor of London.
