Relegation Party: the warm up - Brentford (A) 05/04/16

Post by TonyDomingos » Fri Apr 01, 2016 10:22 pm

I was slightly amazed to find that the earliest we can be formally relegated isn't until Derby next weekend. I was kinda hoping it would be this Saturday so that I could go to this one and see a carefree XI knock a few past a jittery Brentford, who are on the periphery of the relegation battle.

Nevertheless, assuming it's pay-on-the-day (anyone know?), I'll be there cheering on our heroes. Anyone else daft enough?

I thought that it'd be at Brentford but I checked, and because Bristol City play Rotherham on Tuesday also it can't happen.

ill be there but in the home end with a local... lennon was still in charge when he bought the tickets, and i was certain he'd be there till end of the season so wasnt really sorry not to be sitting in a barely populated but poisonous away end..

Barely populated is what it will be -

#BWFC have sold nearly 300 tickets for Tuesday night's trip to @BrentfordFC.

I've sacked off plans to go. 4 away games is my lowest tally for a while but with a 100% defeat record I'm not keen to add to it.

Very wise not to go. Regular readers will be familiar with my win rate. :hang:

Good job you're not selling. I think there'd be a Trade's Description problem. Right there.

I'd keep those thoughts to myself if I were Jimmy, at least until after the game in the unlikely event that we play well.

In his defence, he's pretty nifty when it comes to getting 'em in.

We're going to win this. Jimmy says so (well, he doesn't say we'll lose), so 3-0 us and a wild celebration from Deryk when he bagas one?

I wouldn't really mind if we lost every game from now till the end of the season.

Start afresh. And statistically we'd be due a win start of next season.
