Yeah, as I say - must be just us ;)

See, how we're doing as a manufacturing exporter tends to mirror what's going on nationally, but you'll have to take my word for that. The exchange rate is moving in our favour and efficiency is at an absolute high. I look forward to your post at the end of Q2. :)

Yes, they could simply ask you regarding your view from the pulpit and ask if contributions into the felt bag are up or down. Can you share that information with me good and early please as I really am becoming a weary traveler? ;)

(I actually really, really am :( )

well - except I wasn't offering a view from the pulpit about felt bag contributions - but simply quoting the official Office for National Statistics (as set up by Osbourne himself) figures...

not sure why - given that you already doubted the figures quoted for this last quarter! surely anything not similarly in line with your own bellweather company for Q2 will also be dismissed as "from the Morning Star"!! :D

Really? Because I look forward to you showing yourself as being a know-nowt feck* in about seven further weeks, and you quoting figures that you have no understanding of. It's stuff like that that makes this place fun. ;)

I am no expert, you're right - but I DO have an economics degree, so I like to think I have a basic grasp! Where/how do you think the ONS has got it wrong, just out of interest?

In other notes, both the PM and Fallon have retracted comments that they thought were appropriate during the Khan/Goldsmith campaigning in relation to Khan and Gani supporting terrorists. They made a mistake. Something their office denied at the time when pressed. It was all just a misunderstanding. Either the clueless fcukwits do know the difference between an Islamic State and Daesh in which case they're reprehensible tw@ts or they don't which would be even more concerning.

Robert Maupin, patrolling his property line along the US-Mexico border. His thoughts on Trump’s wall proposal? ‘Actually, I wanted a moat with saltwater gators.’

Will they all be UK sharks or will we need to rely on the free movement of sharks from other areas - I think we will...

Here's another picture of Mr Robert Maupin. Seems like a sane sorta person...

He's the one on the right with the two dogs, just in case the high powered rifles don't quite cut it...

So the tories have finally handed over the paperwork to the electoral commission - they failed to do so, twice - and so the Electoral Commission had to get a high court order - the first time they've ever had to do that...

the Police and Crime Commissioner narrowly elected here in Devon & Cornwall was the election agent for the MP who was elected here last summer - she is under investigation, which is not a great start for someone overseeing Police in the area... they've had to farm the enquiry to another force that she's not in charge of... not that she's been suspended or stood down or anything while investigations proceed.

Great to see that Corbyn has Labour so well organised and focused so they're in a good position to take full advantage of any by-elections this may well trigger.
