^^ but it's OK. McClusky has offered to broker peace between the fallen MP's & Corbyn. It seems they fell for a media plot and forces of the dark side and a they have to do is recant and you'll be forgiven message.

Well the end of Farage has arrived and the race to obscurity for UKIP is on the final furlong.
Labour might just be able to win and election if they sort their self out.

Not the first time we've heard that.Hoboh wrote:Well the end of Farage has arrived and the race to obscurity for UKIP is on the final furlong.

His job is done, he said. That would be the one that couldn't articulate what "Out" should look like - Great job, Nige.
Re: The Politics Thread
Articulating what out should entail was the job of the government lead by the bloke whose arrogance in believing he couldn't lose a referendum, so he never bothered.Worthy4England wrote:Not the first time we've heard that.Hoboh wrote:Well the end of Farage has arrived and the race to obscurity for UKIP is on the final furlong.

No - at the time, it wasn't - his party manifesto was to Remain - quite clearly. That's why he campaigned for it and then resigned when he lost. Can you tell me what out looks like?Hoboh wrote:Articulating what out should entail was the job of the government lead by the bloke whose arrogance in believing he couldn't lose a referendum, so he never bothered.Worthy4England wrote:Not the first time we've heard that.Hoboh wrote:Well the end of Farage has arrived and the race to obscurity for UKIP is on the final furlong.

Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't he also say at one point he was going to negotiate leave if that was the will of the electorate?Worthy4England wrote:No - at the time, it wasn't - his party manifesto was to Remain - quite clearly. So where was his plan? or do governments not make contingency plans?

Re: The Politics Thread
Things change relative to time. The Conservative government will negotiate leave. I could understand anyone thinking "I don't reckon I'm up to the job of negotiating completely free trade with no free movement, £350m per week to the NHS, no change to farming subsidies" - I'd have resigned too.Hoboh wrote:Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't he also say at one point he was going to negotiate leave if that was the will of the electorate?Worthy4England wrote:No - at the time, it wasn't - his party manifesto was to Remain - quite clearly. Re: The Politics Thread
He's been offered the hardcash to report to Le Pen and the Dutch fella
Fair play to him. Good work if you can get it..
Thing is, he's worked inside EU, he's campaigned ferociously to get us out of it. He's now helping other countries get out of it. He gets no real gain in terms of leadership, or popularity. So what's his motivation?
Could it be, that he knows a bit more than most about exactly what the Fvck they're upto, doesn't like it one jot and wants to bring them down?
Antiestablishmentarianism at it's finest. Some of the hippies who want him dead, should really be queuing up to pipe the fella off. He's realising their dream
Stick it to da man, maaan

Or perhaps he's just a fascist like his French and Dutch counterparts? Sort of a modern day Oswald Mosely to their Seyss-Inquart or Jacques Doirot?

Who knows. I don't think Farage is racist, or facist personally.

Possibly. A councillor election in Hindley Green. Forecasts are a majority of at least 8.Hoboh wrote:Well the end of Farage has arrived and the race to obscurity for UKIP is on the final furlong.
