Well, she's Italian, so more of a midfield general than 'keeper. Anywayz, the medical revealed that's she's mobile enough to leave hospital. I reckon she'll be fit to start v Sheff U.

Club confirm the capture of 24-year-old forward on a free transfer
Bolton Wanderers have completed the signing of Jamie Proctor on a free transfer.

The forward, who finished last season on the books at Bradford City, reunites with manager Phil Parkinson after signing a two-year deal with the Whites.

The 24-year-old started his career with his boyhood club Preston North End, breaking into the Lilywhites side after a loan spell with Stockport County as they unsuccessfully fought against relegation from the Sky Bet Championship during the 2010/11 campaign.

Having signed for Premier League side Swansea City in August 2012, he was on the move again the following January as he joined Crawley Town after a brief loan spell with Shrewsbury Town.

Moving on to Fleetwood Town in June 2014, Proctor spent the second half of last season with Parkinson at Bradford City, scoring six goals in 20 appearances including one on his debut and one in the Bantams’ play-off semi-final defeat to Millwall.

Chris Taylor (left-winger, 29, two-year deal)
Oldham-born Oldham fan who came through the Oldham ranks. A six-foot winger, although he has played in central midfield and at left-back. At age 21 he was linked with a £500,000 move to Leeds, Blackpool or Donny, but he stayed put. Was named in the 2009 League One Team of the Year, then struggled with injuries and poor form, but was the club’s Player of the Year in 2011. Joined second-tier Millwall on a free in summer 2012, but came back north to Blackburn a year later. After 36 starts and 37 sub appearances over nearly three years, he returned to Millwall this March and scored three goals in nine league games.

Mark Beevers (centre-back, 26, two-year deal)
Barnsley-born 6ft 4in left-footer who came up through Wednesday’s youth ranks and made his debut aged 17. At age 18 he was linked with Everton but signed a new contract and was named the club’s Player of the Season. Seems to have stalled a bit thereafter, with loans to MK Dons and Millwall (making his debut against us in Coyle’s last game). Millwall made it permanent on 1 Jan 2013, and he stayed there until this summer, reportedly turning down interest from Bradford, Sheffield United and second-tier hometown club Barnsley to join us.

Jamie Proctor (centre-forward, 24, two-year deal)
The 6ft 2in, Preston-born target man came through PNE’s academy; at age 18 he was loaned out to fourth-tier Stockport. After turning 20 he left PNE for top-flight Swansea but couldn’t get a game and in January 2013 he joined Crawley. Over the next 18 months he scored 14 in 67 games (40 starts) for the third-tier club before moving back north; Crawley wanted him to stay but he joined Fleetwood (newly promoted to the third tier) on a free. There he scored 12 in 70 (50 starts), being joint top scorer in 2014/15; this January, as part of the deal that took Devante Cole to the seaside, he joined Bradford on a short-term contract and scored six in 20 appearances for Parky.

I doubt that we'll sell Clough unless someone comes in with £3M+, same with Holding - up front we've also got Max Clayton coming back as well who should be available for the start of the season, who if kept fit will be very good at this level - I rate Clayton.

The word "balance" keeps coming up in Parky's ongoing squad assessment, and if you look at the areas where we've got players with a reasonable level of experience (rather than hope-they-work kids):

We may need a striker if Zach goes (I'm less sure than you that he will), but it's worth noting that of our inexperienced backups – Alex Finney, Tom Walker, Filip Twardzik, George Newell, Alex Samizadeh, Conor Wilkinson and Kaiyne Woolery – the majority are forwards.

For me, we need another winger and another defender, hopefully one who can cover more than one position. Obviously this changes as others leave, which they will, but a central midfielder would be low down on my list unless and until Parky either flogs or gives up on several of our incumbents.

Probably worth recalling that we haven't yet tapped the loan market and Mr Anderson had a fair amount to say regarding that not so long ago...dunno, given we seem to have signed, on proper Contracts, 3 players so whether that's still an active option I'm not sure.

Yes we have, but IMO we are still lacking a 'Joey Barton' type tough tackling midfield general / leader type midfielder - and currently we don't have any at the club.

IMO we'll see a few more signings over the next month or so in all areas, as the squad is still light....of which 2 or 3 may be premiership / championship loans
