Re: The Politics Thread
I'm not bothered particularly whether any fckr is offended by it. More that someone on the government benches doesn't have the fcuking intelligence to see that it might cause offence.

The whole fckg World needs to be a little less easily offended. .... and I like those 2 giant postings above btw.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

I still find it strange that Farage, after all his rants, would jump on a plane to a foreign country, and start going on about who people should vote for in that country, in Mississippi of all places.
Re: The Politics Thread
taking offense is something you choose to do (IMO).. I don't find it to be a popular view, though...

I'm offended at your use of "offense" rather than "offence" ... and, yes, I chose to be as a check shows both to be correct !
(But I agree with your view, btw).

You laugh, but that shambles is the only thing stopping Jacob Rees-Mogg and his band of fellow lunatics being able to knock on Theresa May (someone who herself now looks like a sensible choice for PM) 's door and start making demands.
Or not stopping.
You don't need to be remotely close to a Labour supporter to see how awful that is.

Latest YouGov poll shows that among the over-65s, the people who actually vote, May leads Corbyn 72%-8%.

Presumably the other 20% are dead but would still like to exercise their democratic right to f*ck things up for the rest of us?

Just watch a few episodes of "Till death do us part", it hits the demographic.Prufrock wrote:Latest YouGov poll shows that among the over-65s, the people who actually vote, May leads Corbyn 72%-8%.
Re: The Politics Thread
Theresa May's apparent plan to trigger Art 50 (edit) without a vote in parliament is very dodge IMO. Parliament is sovereign and it's dangerous constitutional dice to be dicking about with that.
