Re: EFL/Sherpa Vans/Vauxhall Motors/Johnstone Paints draw
This is making me unhappy. A good header from no 23 ( superb, says micman)..apparently...makes it 2-0. A ball walloped forward goes wide from Madine as we nip over to Bury? Can we recover here....course we can...Come on. Mic man is writing us off as we lose possession and Yates leaves the field for Brewster? Now we get the ball and....the Macine gets involved before they clear. Chat about transfer and we might actually get back to the game shortly...Madine tries, Wilkinson, Taylor and ...now Buxton....as a bat flies into the action?. Goal kick them and, oh, we're off to Gigg Lane again....Okay, meanwhile, back at Bash Street, Woolery lashed a near thing goalwards. Goalkick and....back to him and....we clear via Taylor and....Madine does well and now Taylor and....Earing and....Taylor and Walsh clears. Buxton does well again and we just don't seem to be making any impression. I think the missing ghost of the Earl of Derby is in the stand somewhere as three minutes of extra agony are announced. The kids sally at us and...that peters out. More chat about Bury and this hasn't been our finest hour has it? They come again but we have a goal kick. Wollery and Taylor set a move that ends in a Madine header.
0-2 and not a very good night.

I really can't be arsed with this whole joke of a competition. The sooner we're out, the better.

Sadly not. We have 2 group games to go. It's like the Champions League you see.Bruce Rioja wrote:Are we out of it now then?

Interestingly, a 28 year old Frenchman has just completed his hattrick for Norwich U23s at Peterborough.

Oh right. Against whom might they be then? I'd look it up but I'm busy making my fingers bleed in preference.LeverEnd wrote:Sadly not. We have 2 group games to go. It's like the Champions League you see.Bruce Rioja wrote:Are we out of it now then?

Do you know that if it had been a draw tonight both sides would have got a point and it would have gone to penalties for an additional point?Bruce Rioja wrote:Oh right. Anyhow the answer is Blackpool and Cheltenham. Wooooooo.
Re: EFL/Sherpa Vans/Vauxhall Motors/Johnstone Paints draw

No, Mate. I don't know anything about it whatsoever.BWFC_Insane wrote:Do you know that if it had been a draw tonight both sides would have got a point and it would have gone to penalties for an additional point?Bruce Rioja wrote:Oh right. Yep I went along as I usually do to the reserve games. Not a lot to report, Buxton at centre half did well as did A Taylor at left back, for me better than Moxey in defence and going forward. Proctor went off early doors didn't seem injured, all in all not fussed about the result just pleased no one seemed to pick up an injury.TKIZ! wrote:Oh dear. If only we'd held on for a penalty defeat though, we'd have got one!
I'm with Norm on the other thread. Was looking forward to the JPT and hoping fur a Wembley trip. Unfortunately it's been turned into a complete farce.
