Forget whether they're any good and how long they're going to be here, can anyone tell me how tall they are?

Possible apparently. Probably an outside chance given they announced 4 together.thebish wrote:is a fifth still on the way??

Not sure about the latter but I agree on the first point, although I worry slightly that if either of them REALLY impress they might go to a Div Two club in January.BWFC_Insane wrote:I think 6 month things aren't a bad idea for us. Also might have to release more to sign for longer.

Yeah. But that's the nature of loans. Most have a break clause in January anyway so even a year long could go back to the parent club. Least we have something approaching a workable squad now. And have some different types of options.Dave Sutton's barnet wrote:Not sure about the latter but I agree on the first point, although I worry slightly that if either of them REALLY impress they might go to a Div Two club in January.BWFC_Insane wrote:I think 6 month things aren't a bad idea for us. Is it just me who is surprised we could sign Ameobi in league one?

I imagine that a fifth signing might depend on whether Woolery goes to Wigan or not?BWFC_Insane wrote:Possible apparently. Probably an outside chance given they announced 4 together.thebish wrote:is a fifth still on the way??

Might be contingent on someone else going out. Woolery to Wigan still on? Might also be that they wanted the theatre of making four signings at once, without the news having leaked out. Seems like it worked.BWFC_Insane wrote:Possible apparently. Probably an outside chance given they announced 4 together.thebish wrote:is a fifth still on the way??
According to Wiki (I know, but the Rothman's books are at work and I'm not):Nicko58 wrote:Forget whether they're any good and how long they're going to be here, can anyone tell me how tall they are?
Keshi Anderson 5ft 9in
Ben Alnwick 6ft
James Henry 6ft 1in
Sammy Ameobi 6ft 4in!

The possible fifth will be down to the Madine swap happening I would presume.

Exactly. Gives us those options for long enough that they can have an effect on the team, but also the flexibility to let them go back if they don't work out.BWFC_Insane wrote:I think 6 month things aren't a bad idea for us. Possibly. With 4 goals from 98 career appearances over 5/6 years (Wiki) I doubt that many clubs were battering his front door down for his signature.BWFC_Insane wrote:Yeah. BWFC confirm Woolery joins Wigan. Bye, Kaiyne. Oh well.

Wigan seems to be the 'in place' for ex-wanderers to finish their downward spiral to oblivionDave Sutton's barnet wrote:BWFC confirm Woolery joins Wigan. Bye, Kaiyne. Oh well.
Re: For new signings, ask the man from the Pru
He's good but I'm not sure how I feel about Woolery. I reckon there must be a sell on clause so it works out for us. He only cost £10k
Pfffft.

Think we'll regret Woolery. Replacing a promising player we own with loans as well. Hmmmm. Thats the way it is I guess. Hope we get forst refusal on Will Greig!
