The lad from Wolves, was he the one who scored a last minute screamer against us last season?
His contract is up at the end of the season apparently and also turned down Charlton to come here.

Yes he is, yes it is, and so is Ameobi's. Keshi signed a new Palace contract before joining us so we won't really have a chance of signing him permanently. But if he does well and we get promoted, maybe he'd fancy another loan at the next level up...ChrisC wrote:The lad from Wolves, was he the one who scored a last minute screamer against us last season?

With the exception of losing Woollery, better ins than outs. I'm honestly surprised. I'm guessing that being top of the division has helped sell us to them .... & a manager with a clue.
....& what a nice message

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

And the fact that there's so much money floating around the top 2 leagues it gives us a chance to hoover up the odd gem that slips through the net!

^^^^ now. Just the small matter of explaining to him that "we are the one and only Wanderers".

Credit where credit is due. Pru, I take my hat off to you for an excellent transfer thread. 5 quality signings at the death for the loss of a couple of fringe players. I'm a happy bunny tonight and I can't wait for Saturday!

According to my maths, that would make 12 Parky signings. They'd make a passable XI, if you played Thorpe in defensive midfield (where he has indeed played):
..........Howard (or Alnwick).............
Buxton, Wheater, Beevers, A Taylor
Ameobi, Henry, Thorpe, C Taylor
...........Proctor, Anderson...........
...and to that, you have to say well played to Parky and to the Andersons (plus, FWIW, Deano to some or other extent).

Y'all welcome.
Shame about Kaiyne and Darren but not too shabby all in all.
