^^ prediction is that I won't recognise half of the players. Thank God we put names on their back. It'd be useful if the PA Announcer shouted them out tbh.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

I can't even begin to predict the team for this one. I can't remember the last time I was this excited about going to the match though. A proper thumping to be given out. 5-1 to us.

Reckon most of the new boys will be on the bench. Though depends if Proctor is fit. Actually think we might struggle for a week or two whilst the new lads settle in and Parky decides on his best system and how to incorporate the wide lads.

After that though we will batter everyone in sight.

They're supposed to be off until about October, though I reckon it might be nearer Christmas before they're back on.

I think one of Henry or Ameobi in for Mark Davies, rest of the noobs on the bench.

Might see Taylor for Moxey?

Other than that no need to change an unbeaten (in the league) team.

Mr Brown's boys are currently 19th having W1, D1, L3. They've scored 5 and conceded 8. Their only win - and 60% of their goals - came at Sheffield Utd where they were 3 up after just 15 mins. Assuming that result was an anomaly, then I ought to be disappointed if we didn't win. But, we're due a poor result at some point and this might be it. 1-1.

I reckon Phil Brown will have the bigger headache of the managers when he realizes his homework for this one is now way out of date. I forecast we're on a win here even if these days I am to football watching what Peter Brough was to ventriloquism and Michael Fish was to weather forecasting. The Macron should be buzzing like a beehive come Saturday and it's going to be fun knowing who anybody plays for in the commentary. I'll throw in an early 4-0 prediction and an early COME ON YOU WHITES . :oyea: :oyea: :oyea: :oyea:

Those of you who fancied Brown for the manager's position at our place are free to boil your heads after this one. 4-0 to the Wanders at the very least.

Tango makes a really interesting point about Sunbed's tactical plans. It's clear that so far, teams have come out to counter our lack of width by flooding the centre of midfield and breaking against us from wide positions. It's been quite effective and restricted us to narrow wins or a draw. This Saturday, we have the option of width and pace on both sides and the possibility of pace through the middle. Brownie is going to have to sort himself out from 2 o'clock onwards when he knows who's on our team sheet.

We'll still be above them in the table.

Think positive.

I won't be there tomorrow but I'd love to make a mental note of how often their full backs nice person it one towards the back post from just inside our half.

i think we'll all be having a little sigh - and perhaps a little cry - and thinking about what might have been....
