You've got to admire Farage for giving this rag tag bunch of crackpots a voice in politics. As soon as he steps aside there's chaos

You certainly have to read between the lines of that report.

Diane Abbot is the actual Shadow Home Secretary. Good grief!

Keir is a good appointment for Shadow DExEU though.

He's appointed Shami Chakrabati as Shadow AG. So clearly not much to work with there.

I look forward to her taking the same forensic mind that gave us the definitely-not-a-whitewash anti-semitism report and using it to tackle Jeremy Wright across the dispatch box in the Commons...

I was thinking yellow EU stars would do the trick.

Anyway, glad we've got our sovereignty back so our Government can ride roughshod over local democracy without meddlesome Johnny Foreigners getting involved.

To be fair, the announcement about Abbott cast a shadow on my home. So, we now have an allegedly racist shadow home secretary, someone who possibly presided over an anti-semitic whitewash of an investigation as Shadow AG and Donald Trump as a possible US president.

I'm off to put a fiver on Ron Atkinson as next England manager.

Just when you thought the political waters were being defined,

https://www.msn.com/en-gb/news/uknews/t ... ocid=edgsp" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Blair sparked speculation about his future last month when he announced he was winding down his commercial business consultancy and handing its reserves to his charitable causes.
He vowed to spend 80% of his time on not-for-profit activities, a move that some felt was a ‘clearing of the decks’ for a possible political comeback.
Given Labour’s current constitution and overwhelming pro-Corbyn membership, Blair’s remarks will prompt fresh suspicions that he could even be planning to launch a new pro-European centrist party
Mega, I hope he does, will be good to poke fun at the undemocratic, sniffling snowflake, swivel eyed, remain looney tunes when voting for a self glorifying Dr death.

I've not followed the presidential race in America too closely, for obvious reasons, but caught up briefly this morning with the news of the second "debate".

It really is a shitshow of epic proportions.

You have a man who has been caught bang to rights saying his "power" lets him assault women going for president. He's caught, loses the support of most of his party, but carries on. His response is to dig up women who claim they were sexually assualted by his rival's husband. You really couldn't make this up.

It is hard to imagine the sort of human being who would vote for Trump in a non-ironic manner. The man really does reflect worst of humanity that you could possibly ever imagine.

A Tory party that has lost a referendum, led by a leader who hasn't won an election, in a week where they had to U-turn on a policy widely-condemned as being reminiscent of the 30s is 17 (seventeen) points ahead in the polls. 25% in England (where the marginals are) and 48% among the over 65s (people who actually vote).

Because people are too thick to realise that you can actually vote for parties that are not Labour and Conservative. If you want change then stop voting for the same incompetents.

I think there is maybe one other relatively significant reason too...

But Momentum are having a "Concert for Corbyn" with Paul Weller, which certainly isn't the sort of thing a cult would do.

I know the guy is a loon and it'll be damn scary if he wins but the Beebs coverage of this presidential election has been so biased it's untrue. This morning an interview with Pamela Anderson on R5, who's brought a book about sex out, suddenly turned into a what's wrong with Trump piece. Undoubtedly there's a lot wrong with the guy but I'm not sure political commentary is amongst Pams best skills!

The BBC imo, usually tread the difficult line of balance quite well but I reckon they've nailed their colours to the mast on this one
