From B.N: Lee Anderson has tweeted that Beevers NOT going to Scunthorpe, so that puts minds at rest on one subject..

We'd have been out of our trolleys to sell him there!

Beevers would be a bigger loss than anyone in the squad right now for me. I wouldn't accept a penny less than 5 million

According to Iles, another beside him. He's out of contract so not an immediate problem....he says.Worthy4England wrote:Morais?

Thanks for the memories Zach. The best young player we've produced since Nolan with the potential to be even better. Hope he kicks on and has a great career

I'm betting Forest fans will be delighted.

I know it's a poo league but!! But Celtic 64pts from 22 games, effin ell!
Re: Hanging on, January Transfer Window thread 2017
Makes absolutely no sense to sell Zach. We're struggling to create and to score and struggling to get promoted, so sell our most creative and highest scoring player. In terms of money obviously we need it, but a bit depressing.

If the fee is less than £5million I think its a good deal for Forest. Value of young wnglish talent, £5mil feels about right to me. And if it stabilises the club/balances the books its far more important than one player IMO. Hopefully we can produce another, Samizdah maybe...

Unless the Anderson's manage to bag a decent midfielder in the next few minutes, then if Clough does go then its been a poor transfer window IMO
Delighted with Le Fondre, but we will need to change the way we play - either 4-4-2 or a slicker, quicker more creative on the deck passing game to accommodate him (I'm sure we had Bannan last time Le Fondre was with us ?), we currently have zero midfielders who can supply Le Fondre and / or Long with the service they need IMO
And unless we have got £4M for Clough its a shocking deal, as he could have provided some creativity for Le Fondre

I think you are being harsh on Vela, hes been the more creative one IMO. Cloughs been out of position.
Cloughs goals we will miss though. Not many teams sell their top scorer and go on and get promoted I bet.

Agree. Le Fondre needs service, last time he was here Clough provided it. We've lost Clough and Ameobi. Our creativity.Peter Thompson wrote:Unless the Anderson's manage to bag a decent midfielder in the next few minutes, then if Clough does go then its been a poor transfer window IMO

Probably had no choice money wise given the situation. But still I think the balance in the squad is far worse than we had going into this window.

So it'll be aimless 60 yard hoofs launched 4ft over Le Fondre's head then....BWFC_Insane wrote:Agree. Le Fondre needs service, last time he was here Clough provided it. We've lost Clough and Ameobi. So, can I take it that's a rousing vote of confidence from P.T and Insaney then?
