I'm going to see if Mr Iles is going to run a BEN Blog until midnight....
Apparently they're still overdue....
You can alleviate the tension by keep pressing F5 to see if its updated....

i wouldn't bother - once the company has sent the accounts to Companies House they need to be scanned and processed - it can take up to 2 weeks (at busy times) for the Co House website to be updated and a further few days for a copy of the accounts to be available to download (tip - from the page you link to, click on "filing history" and when they are ready you'll be able to download a copy.

I'll chuck a rumour I heard today in here;
Colleague's son works in the academy. Word there is; Ken is hoping for us to qualify for the play offs with 10 points to spare before placing us in administration.
There's probably umpteen reasons why he can't do this, or how in no way it could be true but it made me raise a quizzical eyebrow.

This is one of those bollocks rumours, made up by numpties.Harry Genshaw wrote:I'll chuck a rumour I heard today in here;

In that situation the ten points would count against the next season. The rules were changed to prevent that very sort of thing from happening.

Exactly. Whilst at the other end it stops clubs from taking the ten point penalty as soon as their relegation's been confirmed.BWFC_Insane wrote:This is one of those bollocks rumours, made up by numpties.Harry Genshaw wrote:I'll chuck a rumour I heard today in here;

Must admit I didn't know that the rules had changed. . What to? Does the points deduction only take effect the following season now?BWFC_Insane wrote:This is one of those bollocks rumours, made up by numpties.Harry Genshaw wrote:I'll chuck a rumour I heard today in here;

There is a cut off point. Which I believe is March. After that points count on the following season. It was about 10 years ago this rule was changed after Leeds cheated the system.Harry Genshaw wrote:Must admit I didn't know that the rules had changed. . What to? So we'll do it in 26 days then.BWFC_Insane wrote:There is a cut off point. Which I believe is March.Harry Genshaw wrote:Does the points deduction only take effect the following season now?
Re: Accounts Overdue Window - 2017
Points deduction (which I believe is now 12 points) would come off this season's points unless we were already relegated before deduction. If after point deduction, a team is in a position to be promoted or enter play-offs then they are deemed ineligible and the promotion / play-off places go to the team(s) below.

Iles has just tweeted that he's been told that the accounts will be submitted later today. When asked what would happen if they weren't, he replied that 'the directors would be in very hot water'.

I think there may be a bombshell or two buried in these accounts. I found it interesting that Eddie Davies popped up out of nowhere a couple of days before they were due in January.
Re: Accounts Overdue Window - 2017
They've finally been submitted, albeit with a fine for late submission apparently.
I guess this means that Worthy can give his F5 button a rest now.

Worthy needs to keep pressing F5 until they are available to view. Then he can report back here. I reckon some fascinating reading in there.

Re: Accounts Overdue Window - 2017
There'll definitely be a fine for late submission - this starts if you are a day overdue (£200 I think) and ratchets up depending on how late you are when you submit - suspect the fine in this case runs into the thousands.......
Give Companies House a few days to process them and then they'll be available for the whole world to see!!
