I suspect, no matter how pessimistic we may get on here, theres not a team in the top 6 who doesn't want to be us right now.

We've come from around a billion points behind Sheff Utd to within 4, and we've overtaken Fleetwood, who were probably the form team of the galaxy, to go 6 clear of them and with a superior goal difference. And handed them their arses at their own gaff in the process.

Personally, I'm not arsed that much about the title, promotion is our single focus, but f**k me, if you were in Sheffield right now you'd be looking nervously over your shoulder. And it's a hell of a carrot to our players to carry that momentum on for just 7 games.
Maths not your strong point? On the 20 August BWFC were 11 points AHEAD of Sheff Utd, not a billion behind. So at the moment that is a swing of 23 points in favor of Sheff Utd. Yep the Champions are nervously looking over their shoulders
You'll have to excuse a few on here as they aren't still studying GCSE Maths.

You went through the rigmarole of signing up on here just to post that world class dreary piece of knowledge?
Breathtaking.

6 years of playing Pub Football were bound to pay dividends sooner or later. Well done.

I'd forgotten I'd posted that it was so long ago.

Not that I'm suggesting that Sheffield is a city stuck in the past, but you know.
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

Lets hope they can maintain this form for the full 90 minutes (fingers crossed that they didn't party for too long on Saturday).

I hope they start trying soon, instead of tw@tting about like they've nothing to play for.

Indeed. Hopefully when they came out for the second half they brought the arse-plate to hand to Bradford. A proper dicking here would be far more hurtful than the sort of close disappointments we've been having.

Tell you what Bradfords problem is; shit without Madine.

In all seriousness I felt myself edging into the camp that thought we'd have a 1 point gap tomorrow, cos I thought Bradford would win here. Still Fleetwood to play yet I guess.

Considering their reputation as a West Riding Wunderteam, the Barcelona of the Pennines look pretty lumpish and shite to me.

FT Blades 3-0 Bradford. Never in doubt. Attention now switches to the Fish Farm - come on Millwall!

They were bound to win today. Script is written. We will blow second and face Bradford in play off final at Wembley. Can see it now!

Had a similar thought today but it was Scunthorpe.
