There ARE other teams(we'd have no-one to play otherwise) and here's where all-comers can discuss the wider world of football......

Spend time with his family? His 42 year old son and his 38 year old daughter. What an exemplary father.

The fat, lying 4ucker to be announced as Sunderland's new manager within a week. Anyone fancy an interweb Tenner on it?

Think he means it, only because I can't see a better job he could get. Shame as I thought he'd have Palace knocking on 8th next year.

Best English manager of his generation by some distance.

Yes. Probably the reason he's chucked it in now (if he has!). His target has gone, so what's left to work towards? He's already absolutely minted and set up for life

Don't lose sight of the fact he's an inexplicably greedy man though, and a tight c*nt to boot.

Maybe for once the Sun and Mail have something right. First time for everything
At 62, when your friends get blown up it makes you wonder if it is all worth it.
He does not need the money.
He would have to pay Palace £2m if he took another job.
He can make easy money as a pundit.
I think I might do the same, given half a chance
What goes around may still come around

I stopped at The Sun and The Mail. He's the greediest pig on the planet.

He would definitely be taking his own plate to the Toby breakfast buffet!
