We're in the balance here against New Zealand. Not going too badly but should be looking to accelerate in the last 15 overs. Can't help but think it's not the best pitch though. Everyone has had a fair amount of time at the crease but they've struggled timing the ball. Hopefully stokes and buttler can now up the momentum

Re: creeeeeeeekeeeeeet
Agree it's not bad, but feel that we need to be getting to 320 which at the moment seems a bit of a way off. Hales, root and stokes have all had time at the crease without ever looking like dominating or taking the game away from NZ
Re: creeeeeeeekeeeeeet
And now stokes is out. We'll have to bowl well to win this I think barring any fireworks in the last 10 overs. It's felt like an innings with potential all the way through but whenever it's looked like time to get a move on we've lost wickets which have pegged us back.

Wood and Ball no scores but 310 is at least in with a decent shout.

Almost home and dry now at 215 -8. Good stuff from England on a weird weather day.

Re: creeeeeeeekeeeeeet
That'll do nicely. N.Z. 223 all out and a cracking win to reach the semis.

Aussies 211 - 4 off 39 0vers. Not seeing it as looking too bad as long as we keep it tight. Views?

+300 is always a tough chase with a decent bowling attack....I'd rather 260.

8-9-10 and all gone for 277. All 50 overs used. Guardian man still reckoning the Oz can win it, but then again.....

That was a review from a man not in form and clutching at straws...
Re: creeeeeeeekeeeeeet
And after 8 balls of our innings its swung Aussies way again. Fortunately we've plenty of batting left. I do enjoy watching these Aussie quicks though. Theyre a real handful

I like watching them from here, rather than 22 yards away.
