Morais assist. Of course.
Standard. We certainly misssed him as an outlet on sun. On our newly narrowed pitch.

Yeah, noticed that. Especially interesting considering we signed (or re-signed) three wingers this summer and that Parky could have narrowed it last summer had he chosen to. Maybe he feels we need to squeeze the better teams in this division.

I thought that was odd given our signings. I think Morais and his set peices will be key, particularly in a team without Vela who was our main scorer from open play last season.

"We will, we will rock you"......they are on the back foot now but are still trying. We are fully awake after a spring (summer) awakening from whatever malais we had. Keep it clean now lads and that'll do if we can avoid them scoring. Buckley apparently not impressing (claims micman) but Armstrong doing well. Railers have a sally but Alnwick grabs it. Buckley goes, and...Morais and....it ends up on the tracks. Late sub for them, Madine gives one away. We defend well and get a free kick. Earing went down but seems okay says mic. Madine flicks, they intercept and sally......and they get a corner after a pitch length break. Some er, gentleman claiming the result is tough on Crewe; welcome to reality mate, sympathy counts for nought. They claim for penalty as three minute announced. We clear, they clear, Morais, Buckley and.....we get...a throw in the corner .And.....and......and.....and....Porter wins a disagreed corner..and......and......and......its wide and all over. That'll do. Nowt else matters.

Job done, minutes for more players, two maiden goals. Hope Arma kicks on - he'll be hoping for longer than the last ten minutes.

PP has some interesting decisions to make for the Millwall XI: mainly who's at right wingback, but also does he replace Vela with Buckley, Derik or Pratley? Assume the apparently impressive Burke for Wheater.

...but also let's not forget that we created a fifth of fúck-all for 75 minutes against a Fourth Division team.

Aye, but with a mixed team of begged borrowed or stolen players, some barely old enough to be tasered, who hardly knew each other and probably had to look twice every time they passed to make sure to remember we were the ones in white shirts.

I'd be getting the postman in the side. Not sure right wing back at a place we could do with a point or 3 is the place to do it mind.

Wins a win. Probably much needed after a tricky week or so with injuries and embargo restrictions news. Give everyone a lift hopefully, even if the performance wasn't close to stellar.

And who took over set pieces on Saturday from which both our goals came.

It may be a surprise to learn I don't like 352, but it does give you an extra big bastard for set pieces.

Just watched highlights, defending was shocking. Take your pick of the right backs for the goal!

Looked like Crewe were unlucky. Alnwick made some good saves.

Great first goal for us, and Morais found the corridor of uncertainty with the ball for the second.
