Tony Cottee on Sky "Bolton are the better side"

That is probably the only 45mins of football this season where it has been possibly to say that!!

Considering the last few games we've been excellent. The better side. Defensive is playing deeper which is helping. Madine is unplayable, Morais working his socks off and Noone looks like he could create something. Robinson looking more experienced and mature. Very promising.

Connelly subbed off for them in favour of ???? (somebody who scored mid-week, apparently). The make an early visit at us, but we get a throw. Some scores and then.....Ben wallops now and Madine not happy with the ref....and we are 1-0 down off a 30 yard deflection...

Free kick in the Ipswich half played long over the top of Burke... took it to the byline, passed it back and shot from 30yrds, deflected and in...

Responded well with a sit in target...

You couldn't make it up. Madine was still ranting at the ref when a "shocking deflection" went in, anyroad up, we're one down. We go again and....Robinson and...cleared. We need to work twice as hard now. Burke now, more scores and mither, then...throw them and....a bit of good play from them and....they come again and....crossed and...Ward savages Cullen for a free kick us. Mic lads resume and Noone goes offside. More scores, Cullen clears but they come back and......again and....get a throw. Some names I can't pronounce get interupted and we break and.....sally and.....they clear. Beevers gives one away, before we get a free and...they get a goal kick. I'm not having us losing this one. COME ON YOU WHITES....... W e break via Madine and that ends iwth our throw...Wheater and...another throw and...Morais and....we get a corner. Morais and....ref has a word about handbags then.....in and....cleared by Garner for another throw. Throw again and Moraids and......and...cleared for another throw. Surely we must score and....Cukken now, Noone loses out, Jem sorts it. Ohhhhhh, Wheater and Madine had a real chance and it was blocked by bodies. Corner us again and....Noone and...Cullen and....they clear and.....we get it back. More scores, then....homers lash one to nowhere and....Madine lobs both the keeper and the bar....Real chance...

Can't see us getting anything with the shooting boots that Madine has on today.

They come again and....we almost let them in but Ben saves at the expense of a corner. Another corner and....outswinger and it ends in a throw. Again they try one but we get a free for offside. And....We go forth. Robinson, Morais has a throw and.....the keeper collects. More scores from Mars and Neptune, then we go again...Little and...and....the keeper grabs it. Garner sees grass but bounces. 14,164...is the crowd as ....we get a goal kick.

25 to go and time if we get in quick. Come on lads.....Noone gets cleared but back we come and they break and clear. Wheater get s booked and they get a halfway free kick. Burke clears to Noone but they clear. "Hemlock" clears for them, mic man chats about what we need...it's a gola mate, a goal. Robinson, Noone, Little and cleared but back we go and......they clear. Burke a poor header and they sally at us again. Throw us as Armstrong replaces Little to mic man's confusion?

If Little's off for Arma, it'll mean Morais goes right wing-back in a 3-5-2. Not dissimilar to Tuesday's replacement of Antoneeeeee with Wilbraham (Morais filled in on the left) except that on Tuesday we already had ALF on.

"Type" for most of his Bolton career has been "imperious", but I reckon you mean different...

Celina on loan from City looks just like the type of player we need - sure we were linked with him...

They clear and get a goal kick. Right lads, we'll have that goal now if you don't mind. Keepr clears and they sally forth. Mic man talks of a point, I talk of three. Some media chat and.....they clear and....now, Noone goes and Robinson and.....Madine clears the bar and keeper. One gone begging again, says micman. Madine goes, they clear, Ward wins a throw. A corner for them now and they soun d to be pressing. I hope they do and get men forward. Jem wind a free kick as we get scores. Sixteen to go and....and...Robinson crosses and.....they clear and break and get a shot deflected over the top. Crowd singing songs of praise and Ben saves and clears for a throw to them. Talk of bad luck and stuff, then Noone clears, Karajan sends it forth and we get a free kick. And......and......Noone and.....a corner. And now.......Morais and.....Alf and Wibraham replace Madine and Morais.....Last chance to win it by getting level....and Wilbraham heads one wide.

We were - he chose Suffolk instead. Maybe he'd heard folks didn't get paid on time.

Iles saying it's 4-2-4, presumably with Burke at RB and Noone/Arma? either side of Wilbraham/ALF.

Interesting that PP withdrew Madine (although he could hardly have had four strikers on). Assume Morais ran out of gas, because he'd be much more of a threat from "rightback" than Burke. We're still going to end the game with three centre-backs on the field.
