Zach Clough is on his way out of Nottingham Forest on loan.

Seems like one is indeed coming in, tho. Have double checked and Obasi's signed for Elfsborg, so it's not going to be Plan H, we know that much anyway.

Given it’s half five, and if we’ve signed anyone they would be registered by now or the deal would be rejected, why aren’t we announcing it?

They may have signed subject to medical and we're twanging their hamstrings right now.BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Fri Aug 31, 2018 5:28 pmGiven it’s half five, and if we’ve signed anyone they would be registered by now or the deal would be rejected, why aren’t we announcing it?

Re: Reconstruction time again: the summer 2018 transfer thread
In freebie news - for that's where we're obviously headed - Blackburn have today released lefty midfielder Peter Whittingham (33) and utility bod Paul Caddis (30). Neither are what we need, but it's mildly interesting that the lot up the road are turfing folk through the door - they must be worried about squad size, FFP and associated concerns.
EDIT Still no news. It may or may not be relevant that Aneke to Blackpool still hasn't been announced.

Re: Reconstruction time again: the summer 2018 transfer thread
Played nearly 400 Championship games for Cardiff to summer 2017, then a quieter season at Blackburn in the division below. Question over fitness - he's 34 next Saturday – but his game isn't necessarily about that: more of a creative, including having played as second striker. Might be worth a trial if he's settled in the area, unless he's left because he has an offer elsewhere.
