You strike me as a presumptuous prick that gets just about everything wrong.

I'm enraged by the message written on this receipt.

Discretionary 12.5% included!

Wanker.
Calm! He's celebrating an immigrational aptitude for ripping off the nativist society he's exploiting. Or something.

Thanks for confirming my first thought!

I wonder how much urine and spit you've consumed unwittingly on your travels? The mind boggles.

I'm intrigued as to how the immigrant cooks distinguish prior to serving who is going to have piss and sputum in the authentic non native dishes served? Do they observe and guess, ummm, he's not going to tip!
Perhaps you've consumed as much bodily overflow as any other.
Perhaps any cook who would do that shouldn't be a cook. At least certainly not in this country... I've no idea what culinary standards Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Venezuela, Turkey or the USA demand.

I think I'm quite a generous tipper and I'm appalled that some ignorant restaurant owner equates Brexit with anti immigration. It wouldn't have effected my tip but I'd not be going there again.

Ps - the cook probably doesn't give a shiny one about whether you tip or not. They're not likely to see any of it in most establishments!

Without bias: In this day and age (when we're told so much is old-hat and should be scrapped) I think tipping ( of the monetary sort) is exactly that. . Employers are supposed to pay their staff a living wage according to the job they do. If people need tips to manage then their wages aren't enough, and that's a problem for the employer, not the customer. . My wife asked if I was going to tip the bin men at Christmas. I asked if she was joking. She thought I was being mean!

Anybody who spits etc in food etc, are the ones with problems. It says much about their heads.

Private security guards are handcuffing violent suspects in Lake District towns after part of the region was left with just six frontline police officers on duty at a time.

Over-stretched police can be up to an hour’s drive away in the area, which is home to 100,000 people and visited by 15million tourists a year.

Security firms in South Lakeland have now trained staff to use handcuffs so they can detain suspects while waiting for the police to arrive.

The district in south Cumbria, which is the same size as Greater London, is covered by officers based at Kendal police station. Cuts mean a maximum of six frontline officers are on duty in the day and even fewer at night.
Martin Plummer, chairman of Cumbria Police Federation, warned the force’s capacity had fallen since gunman Derrick Bird killed 12 people in a 2010 shooting spree.

He said the nearest available firearms cover could be up to a 90-minute drive away. Mr Plummer said: ‘We are England’s third largest county, but have one of the smallest police forces.
Last week, Cumbria’s council tax policing charge, or precept, was raised to fund an extra 20 police officers this year. Tory Police and Crime Commissioner, Peter McCall, said he believed ‘Cumbria is a policing success story’ but added: ‘At certain times resources do get stretched perilously thin and I understand people want to see more officers. But we are dealing with a growth in county lines drug dealing, child sexual exploitation and mental health issues.

‘I was surprised to learn security guards are using handcuffs in Cumbria. Obviously it is not a route we want to go down.’
Oh do feck off you moron!!

Whatever happened to Tough on crime and tough on the causes of crime? Sort out the weak feeble Judges, the leech lawyers and bang assholes up in proper prisons to serve their full sentences, build more if need be and automatically shoot any fecker in public with knives etc.

As for this
a growth in county lines drug dealing,
Oh yeah and where is most of it coming from? Yep, that foreign city called London.
If you strung enough of the dope peddling pricks up the problem would soon shrink, I know the bloke in the Philippines is a nutter but drug dealers are falling over themselves to get out before they are caught.

I think resigned is more apt than angry. Last week I was advised that my hernia op date had been brought forward from February to today. Great. Did all the getting ready, bag packing and stuff and was there in the hospital at 6-45 after taking a taxi. Booked in eventually, was allocated a bed, donned slippers and stuff and Angel 1 came along later and went through all the paperwork, taping of wedding ring, remove watch and jewellry, blood pressure checks, the lot. She was just saying "good luck and the aneisthatist will be with you very shortly" , when in flutters Angel 2. "Ever so sorry Mr Tango, but I'm afraid I have some bad news; the surgeon has rung in sick. We'll have to fix you another appointment!.Flutters away.

Synpathetic smile and a cup of tea from Angel 1 and at 9-15 I'm back out of the door and heading home. Not very delighted.

What exactly motivates this luncy? Every era/generation has bored mindless actions by youth, but this is pretty much close to madness. Why?

Interesting subject, tipping. How do Uber drivers go on now that they're not involved in cash transactions? I'm yet to see anybody tip an Uber driver?
Me, I like to reward what I consider to be exemplary service levels. Yesterday afternoon / evening a plasterer came round to mine at the drop of a hat and plastered up a big patch where the plaster had come away with the paper (I have the decorators in). He did such a good job (including going around filling in other minor defects) that I was more than happy to give the guy 20% more than he asked for.
May the bridges I burn light your way

I've never had any objection in giving a bit extra for good work to any tradesman Bruce, indeed I've just done that to an electrician a few days ago who fixed a fault in my cooker. It's mainly taxis that are my problem.

Not having a car or driving these days, I use taxis a lot, mainly when with the wife who struggles walking right now, and the biggest problem is they never seem to know how much to charge, a regular question being "How much do you usually pay?" when asked the fare cost. I have no quibbles at all with the service and they're all pretty fair, many of them living round about my area, but almost all are self-employed under a communal licence scheme and don't use meters like black cabs. It is changing, but right now can be pretty frustrating when going to different places etc. That was mainly my point (bin men excepted as they are a breed apart) :)

Probably with good reason.
1. There is documented proof that a lack of sense of smell is closely associated with onset dementia.
2. The subtle taste of a good pint of real ale is severely handicapped if its accompanying aroma is destroyed by an overwhelming chemical attack on the nasal passages.
3. Infiltrating Russian agents will mask their assassination attempts by utilising perfume wearing women of a certain age.

There is an obvious shyster operating on eBay. Ok, ok, ok... I know, just one!
But. You can't denigrate the cxnts on the site itself, or warn future potential buyers, because you can only leave feedback after having bought something.

Anyway, if your seller is called Tony Barnes, and he lives in the west Midlands and your purchase involves more than £200 - give me a PM, and I'll disabuse you of forfeiting anything to the MDF faking cxnt.
